If you would come of this false religion that relies on fallible men to tell you what to think and do, and instead accept Christ as your Head and allow the Holy Spirit to direct you personally, then you need not even give this another thought.

It always saddens me to see this. If I were in a church where I was not certain of my leader, I would not be long in it. And perhaps that is why I have no allegiance to any man-made religion or denomination.

I have all I need in the Spirit, and He never disappoints or makes a mistake. Why take direction from any other? Why anyone would want anything or anyone else is beyond me.

I have all I need in the Spirit, and He never disappoints or makes a mistake.

Which Spirit?

The one who tells you that infant baptism is OK? Or the one who says that you must be baptized as an adult? The one who says you may be baptized by sprinkling, the one who says you may be baptized by pouring, the one who says you must be baptized full immersion in a pool, or the one who says you must be baptized in a river? Or, for that matter, the one who says water isn't necessary...only "Spirit baptism" counts?

Does this spirit teach you that baptism is regenerative? Or does this spirit teach you that it is a mere ordinance? Something to be done because Jesus tells you to do so...but not something that has power itself...

Is this spirit the one who says that you have free will or the one who says you are predestined and don't have a choice whether you are saved or not?

Is this spirit the one who says you should use wine and crackers or Welch's grape juice and little bread tablets for communion?

Is this the spirit that says that female pastors are OK or is this the spirit that says the women may not speak in church?

Is this spirit the one who works through pastors with the "gifts of the spirit" or did the "gifts of the spirit" disappear after the apostolic age?

Is this the spirit that says that pastors should bless homosexual unions or the spirit that says that homosexual unions are an abomination?

Is this the spirit that says abortion is a woman's choice or that abortion is murder?

Is this the spirit that says that rock-n-roll music is good for church...or should it just be organ music...or is this the spirit that says that any singing should only be a capella?

Is this the spirit that says that God is a Trinity (3 persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit)...or is this the spirit that says that Jesus was God's son, but not God the Son...or is this the spirit that says that there are no three persons and that God is just "oneness"?

Is this the spirit that says that you must be in church twice on Sunday and on Wednesday night? Or is this the spirit that says that you should go to church when you want? Or is this the spirit that says that you should just go it alone? Is this the spirit that says that you should assemble in a church building with stained glass, an altar, and a cross? Or is this the spirit that says that He is Risen...therefore crosses should not be anywhere in church or even in the home?

And I could continue...

You may well say, well, those are little things...we all agree on the essentials

You may also, for some of the most egregious examples, above, say that those are apostates and not even real Christians.

Are there "little things?" My Lord said, He that is faithful in that which is least, is faithful also in that which is greater: and he that is unjust in that which is little, is unjust also in that which is greater. (Luke 16:10)

IF all you needed was the Spirit and the Spirit would lead you all in the same direction.

But there are such divergent issues between people who all claim to have the authentic faith and who are led to that authentic faith "by the spirit", your claim is absolutely non-credible.

The bottom line is that if you want to have the audacity to call Catholicism a "false religion", I would suggest that you all need to get your doctrinal house in order. Because you all have chaos...and "…God is not a God of confusion but of peace." (1 Cor 14:33)
