Twin Cities Catholics reacted with surprise, disappointment and forgiveness Sunday morning after hearing parish leaders discuss reports that church officials may have covered up evidence that a Hugo priest kept child pornography on his computer. Obviously that Reformation is blame for this! < /sarc>
Three people claim they saw child porn on the disk. By the time the cops got the disk ( years later) there was no child porn on the disk.
Surprise?? Why. We all know that all miscreants in the Church have not been removed. Perhaps they are surprised that this one Priest is guilty since he was known to them, and probably trusted.
Disappointment?? Of course.
Forgiveness???? I cannot be too sure of that. Can we really forgive one who has deceived us? At times yes, but a Priest and Child Porn?? Kinda tough to forgive. Perhaps forgive him because he is mentally ill, and that after he has left the Priesthood and tried to rehabilitate himself. Never back to being a priest again.
For Years the Church has been covering up for these people, it’s time the Cover ups stopped and cooperation with civil authorities was practiced. Pedophiles belong in jail not having their cases covered up. One would think that after all the money it has cost the Church they would know this.
No. It has to do with human shortcomings and the presence of large numbers of vile homosexuals in the clergy. Really nothing to do with doctrine per se. Just the same its amusing to observe how the heretics especially the spiritual heirs to the decadent Henry VIII take great joy in this tragedy.
Just applying your own standards to the situation.
