Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We praise and Bless Your Most Holy Name!
We Worship You and Love You. For You Alone Are Worthy
Everlasting and Almighty God!

Abba, Father,
The Layers of Sin That led to this Tragic Story
Seem so obvious in retrospect.
David's Polygamy, Adultery, Irresponsibility in Not Disciplining his Children,
and other personal Sins Caught Up With Him.
When Confronted with the Heinous Behavior of his sons,
he has no way of dealing with it except by crying!
Dear Lord, let us not be afraid to correct our children with loving discipline.
And Let Them not get enticed by evil companions, who like Jonadab,
would advise them to destroy the very ones they love..

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.
We Pray For Families,
that They will prosper and Grow in You
We Pray For Children,
That They will Be Raised to Love You

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This shameful story of Anmon, Absalom, and Tamar shows us a number of things. David had made some bad decisions earlier in his life, and had fathered many children from a number of different women. From this story, we can see that there was division among them, probably caused by favoritism and unequal treatment based on who their mother had been. Also, there is an indication that David was either so totally preoccupied with his duties, or even religious activity, that he did not raise his own children in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Confronted with this horrible situation, he became furious, but did nothing about it!

Only Tamar seems to know or care anything about the Law of God.

So even the Great Psalmist, David, The King of Israel, was a SINNER in need of the grace of God. This tragic story will continue for a few days, as it takes a while to tell it completely. It is probably one that you did NOT hear in Sunday School, but very important in our study of Family Life in the Bible.
Everything in the Scriptures can teach us something!

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Families and FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and for Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
