Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We Bless Your Most Holy Name!
We Worship You Alone. For You Alone Are Worthy
You Alone Are the One True God!

Abba, Father,
We Lift Up to You In Prayer
The Broken-Hearted Parents of Rebellious Children.
Sometimes, even when we do everything right,
Our children don't turn out the way we had hoped.
Sometimes the even totally rebel against everything we hold dear.
Help Us Understand The Concept of free will and help us not to be consumed with guilt or anger when things go wrong.

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.
We Pray For Families,
that They will prosper and Grow in You
We Pray For Children,
That They will Be Raised to Love You

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Absalom's Rebellious behavior has come to a head, and he is openly threatening King David's Authority, both as a Father and as King. It is so bad that David has to leave the palace and go into hiding.
However, there is a sense of acceptance and Faith in God, as David instructs Zadock the priest to remain in Jerusalem with the Ark of the Covenant. He also instructs some faithful assistants to infiltrate Absalom's inner circle. David knows in his heart that "He'll Be Back".
The response of the people to Absalom's Usurpation of Power is telling. They are horrified, but there is little they can do at this point in time. They do, however, know that they must stand with David, and not bow down to the monster that Absalom has become.
To this day, Absalom is one of the most hated of historic characters in Israel. People throw rocks at his tomb in contempt, even now in the 21st Century. My guess is that Absalom is loathed not as much for his usurpation of power, but for the betrayal of his own father, who NEVER stopped loving him.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Families, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
