Fr. John J. Jenkins, the president of the University of Notre Dame, notified staff this morning that the school will be refiling its lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services abortion-drug, contraception, sterilization mandate.

Glad ND is coming to its senses
And yet, after covering up all religious symbols, they let Obama speak and gave him an honorary degree.
Hahaha, and Jenkins invited “the one” to come to the campus and speak to the unwashed masses against alum wishes and protests and lost a lot of money over that decision — And then “the one” sticks it to the University. When will these people ever learn...when.
You have the wrong University...Notre Dame did NOT cover up their religious symbols. That was Georgetown.
The ND leadership should be careful not to stray one inch off the birth control/abortion track... Cardinal Dolan said were it not for those issues, the Catholic Church would be one of Obamacare’s “biggest cheerleaders.”
I’m not any happier than you are that they conferred a dregree on Obama....believe it or not, there are priests and faculty who weren’t either. Like I said, they go soft in the head sometimes.
It’s their ox being gored this time. They will embrace Obama again when it serves their purpose.
I find it rather interesting that ND would take exception to these issue stances by the regime, when they knew all along Obama was the biggest abortion supporter of all time to ever enter the White House, when they invited him in 2009.
You already sold your soul.
When you arrested those priests for praying the rosary on ND's campus during Obama's visit, you consummated the deal.
After Obama ordered all religious symbols covered up at Georgetown, Notre Dame embraced that decision and gave him an honorary degree, and had him deliver a commencement address. Now they want special favors from their god.
fuente- thank you for taking the colors up the hill. We are under siege. Something’s bound to give if the pressure increases enough. Keep prodding the flanks!
Truth... bottom line.
Good, Notre Dame is showing some backbone.
Notre Dame Univ ping
How about we ALL sue the administration for treason!
Something not involving football is getting attention at Notre Dame? Wow, this must be the end of times.
Two iconic “catholic” universities embracing one of history’s most ardent supporters of abortions. Let them both rot in their fetid makings.
125,000 abortions a day worldwide... yawn.
The Catholic Churches #2 priority; getting tomato pickers a once cent raise.
The Catholic Churches #1 priority; getting them across the border.
DOH! once = one.
Well well. Befriend a wolf and get bitten, eh? Maybe that embarrassing k-a award to O was a mistake , eh? At any event, i’m so glad to see Notre Dame standing up for its rights ( and a Church teaching ). We are living in times when Satanic forces are really attacking hard. and it will take every person of good will , and every church-related institution , to stand up like this. Good for ND!
Face palm DOH! Churches = Church’s
As a Bama fan, I applaud ND in making this move. Their next move should be to rid themsevles of the liberal Father Jenkins.
Oh, sure, all warm fuzzies for Fr. Jenkins now after he threw the blood of all those aborted babies all over Notre Dame’s reputation when he invited pro-choice Obama to speak at graduation and awarded him an honorary law doctorate.
Sorry, no thanks.
OMG... that actually happened on the Notre Dame campus?? (See photo in #16)
“Father Weslin was one of the group of 88 peaceful protestors arrested on campus. The group came to be was known as the ND88.
When he was literally carried away, Father Weslin was singing the hymn Immaculate Mary, and asked police, Why would you arrest a Catholic priest at a Catholic university for trying to stop the killing of a baby?”
I can just imagine ND’s shock at being turned on by obama, after the group fellatio session they gave him.
Bama fan! Heck, If I were Pope, Little Nick Saban would have been excommunicated for taking the Bama job.
But I agree it is good to see Notre Dame finally standing up when the chips are down. They thought they could dialogue with the Obama administration and I think they realize that they probably can’t. I think we are going to see more court battles like this in the future.
