I know there are many here who dislike Notre Dame and feel they are not truly a Catholic University. Despite their flaws, they remain dedicated to Catholicism. "Do gooderism" and soft headedness get in the way from time to time.

And yet, after covering up all religious symbols, they let Obama speak and gave him an honorary degree.

Hahaha, and Jenkins invited “the one” to come to the campus and speak to the unwashed masses against alum wishes and protests and lost a lot of money over that decision — And then “the one” sticks it to the University. When will these people ever learn...when.

You have the wrong University...Notre Dame did NOT cover up their religious symbols. That was Georgetown.

The ND leadership should be careful not to stray one inch off the birth control/abortion track... Cardinal Dolan said were it not for those issues, the Catholic Church would be one of Obamacare’s “biggest cheerleaders.”

I’m not any happier than you are that they conferred a dregree on Obama....believe it or not, there are priests and faculty who weren’t either. Like I said, they go soft in the head sometimes.

It’s their ox being gored this time. They will embrace Obama again when it serves their purpose.

I find it rather interesting that ND would take exception to these issue stances by the regime, when they knew all along Obama was the biggest abortion supporter of all time to ever enter the White House, when they invited him in 2009.

Too bad, Jenkins - too late.

You already sold your soul.

When you arrested those priests for praying the rosary on ND's campus during Obama's visit, you consummated the deal.

After Obama ordered all religious symbols covered up at Georgetown, Notre Dame embraced that decision and gave him an honorary degree, and had him deliver a commencement address. Now they want special favors from their god.

fuente- thank you for taking the colors up the hill. We are under siege. Something’s bound to give if the pressure increases enough. Keep prodding the flanks!

Something not involving football is getting attention at Notre Dame? Wow, this must be the end of times.

Two iconic “catholic” universities embracing one of history’s most ardent supporters of abortions. Let them both rot in their fetid makings.

125,000 abortions a day worldwide... yawn.

The Catholic Churches #2 priority; getting tomato pickers a once cent raise.

The Catholic Churches #1 priority; getting them across the border.
