We are here to receive help and grace for each member of our United States military men and women. According to Your promise, marvelous God, we speak to them to Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Thank You, Sir, for going with them and never leaving nor forsaking them! Cause each one to be a success at what they do and let Your angels keep guard over them.
Today, Father, we pray for Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Eric K. Shinseki. We pray That Your Holy Spirit would reveal Yourself and Your goodness and holiness to Eric Shinseki, his wife and his children, drawing them closer to Yourself and Your grace. We pray for wisdom and integrity for Secretary Shinseki as he leads the activities of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We pray today also, Sir, for the Peace of Jerusalem and the salvation of all Israel. Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. May the LORD our God be with (them), as He was with their fathers. May He not leave them nor forsake them, that He may incline their hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded their fathers. (1 Kings 8: 56-58)
Thank You for answering todays petitions as we pray together in Jesus name.
Thank you for boldly coming to the throne of grace today on behalf of our military and Israel.
Amen, Hiskid

Read: Psalm 107:1-9
Our granddaughter Julia spent the summer working in an orphanage in Busia, Uganda. On the final day of her internship, she went to the children to tell each one goodbye. One little girl named Sumaya was very sad and said to her, Tomorrow you leave us, and next week the other aunties [interns] leave.
When Julia agreed that she was indeed leaving, Sumaya thought for a minute and exclaimed, But we will be all empty. None of you will be left! Again, Julia agreed. The little girl thought a few moments and replied: But God will be with us, so we wont be all empty.
If we are honest with ourselves, we know that all empty feeling. It is an emptiness that friendship, love, sex, money, power, popularity, or success can never assuagea longing for something indefinable, something incalculably precious but lost. Every good thing can remind, beckon, and awaken in us a greater desire for that elusive something more. The closest we get is a hint, an echo in a face, a painting, a scene . . . . And then it is gone. Our best havings are wantings, said C. S. Lewis.
We were made for God, and in the end, nothing less will satisfy us. Without Him, we are all empty. He alone fills the hungry with good things (Ps. 107:9).
Praying in agreement with you today. Thank you, my sister in Christ.
Adding my prayers for our Heroes and our Nation.
Blessings, etabeta
Amen.
Joining in your prayers over our military, our veterans, over Israel. May we never forget...any of them. May our petitions be always before the LORD for BLESSING. Amen.
The Lord commands us to Bless those who Persecute you, Pray for those who harm you. I struggle with that when it comes to praying for the nations .and as I prayed about that today .I opened up a study I am doing and the title for today was: Gods dealing with the Nations, and Isaiah 19:18-25 was referenced. The author of the study spoke of a visitation of Gods power and Spirit coming to the Arab world. . . That God loves all peoples the same . . . God promises redemption to Israel and to bless the surrounding nations . . . That this awaits the fulfillment in the Messianic Age . . . That God will strike the Arab world to heal them . . . Israel exists as a blessing to them too. <3 LORD, help me to overcome and teach me to pray for the Arab nations as well. OH LORD we look for the fulfillment of THY KINGDOM COME..Amen.
Isaiah 19:18-25 In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of the Canaan and swearing allegiance to the LORD of hosts; one will be called the city of Destruction. In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD near its border. And it will become a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of oppressors, and HE will send them a SAVIOR and a CHAMPION, and HE will deliver them. Thus the LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the LORD and perform it. And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing, so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the LORD of hosts has blessed saying, Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My Hands, and Israel My inheritance.
