Dioceses across Italy, as well as in countries such as Spain, are increasing the number of priests schooled in administering the rite of exorcism, fabled to rid people of possession by the Devil. The rise in demonic cases is a result of more people dabbling in practices such as black magic, paganism, Satanic rites and Ouija boards, often exploring the dark arts with the help of information readily found on the internet, the Church said.

This picture still on the Telegraph site showing Pope Francis doing an “exorcism” is a first for me.

Perhaps an exorcist should visit the papal apartment.

As a kid, I attended a church whose pastor was once involved in a failed exorcism that supposedly was the inspiration for "The Exorcist".

He was one weird priest. Couldn't say if he was that way before the exorcism...

We need to send them to the WH for some house cleaning. Might be over their heads though.

From the FoxNews article:

“The man, who uses a wheelchair, was identified by the Associated Press as a 43-year-old husband and father who traveled to Rome from Mexico to attend Francis’ Mass on Sunday in St. Peter’s Square. According to the Rev. Juan Rivas, the priest who brought him, the man was possessed by the devil.

But Rivas maintains no exorcism was performed, saying Francis merely said a prayer to free the man from the devil.

“Since no one heard what he said, including me who was right there, you can say he did a prayer for liberation but nothing more,” Rivas wrote on his Facebook page, which was confirmed by his religious order, the Legionaries of Christ.”

By the time Obama leaves the WH, there will be a need for such.

I did quite a few of them in the early 1990’s but backed away from it as the focus of my work changed. Of the five people I knew doing them at the time, I am the only one still alive. I have a tape recording of a demon that took over a woman’s body as it was trying to kill me due to the work I do.... A transcript of it is in a book by a Dr, in Missouri who was working with me, Dr. Irene Hickman. (without all the screams and moans.....)

Recently I have noticed an increase in their presence and their tenacity. Just did one this past weekend that was pretty rough.... It’s not me that does it, it is done through me.

I have also noticed an increase in the spirits I refer to as weeds that are not from here. (from Matthew 13, Tares in the wheat)....

I would like to know if you have seen the TV show “The Dead Files” , it airs on the travel channel and is VERY convincing. The shows format is that an investigator checks on all the background using normal means (library , public records , firsthand accounts) ,,, and a person who is “open” to the spirit world; a “physical medium” ... they conduct their investigations separately so as to not influence each other...

The correlations they uncover are uncanny... This show is either 100% authentic or the best fake I’ve ever seen.

At the end of the show the person who called the investigators in is advised on how to solve their particular problems... Every now and then an exorcism is advised ..

On occasion they revisit the cases they worked previously to follow up ,,, One of their “revisited” shows in the last 6 months had an actual exorcism recorded.

I would appreciate it if you could view a few of their episodes and comment here and include me on the “reply to” field...

Thanks

In the Protestant churches, and in a special way, the evangelical ones, there is what is called “deliverance ministries.”

Jesus and the Apostles just told the demons to get out. There was bi fanfare.

“rites” and “ministries”...??

If you have the proper authority all that has to be done is to command them to leave.
