Head teacher removes minister from post at Glasgow Gaelic School after Facebook comments
A Church of Scotland minister has been removed from his post as chaplain of a Gaelic school after describing homosexuality as a "perversion" and a “disorder”.
The Rev Donald MacInnes made the comments on a Facebook page seen by some parents of pupils at the Glasgow Gaelic School.
They complained to the city council over the remarks, with one describing them as “absolutely disgraceful”.
Mr MacInnes made the comments while criticising the Scottish Government's plans to legalise same-sex marriage.
He said: "The overwhelming support of our Scottish politicians in creating same-sex marriage is very disappointing.
"Many of us, myself included, agreed that the creation of civil partnerships was necessary so that individuals suffering from this disorder were not legally penalised in any way because of their sexuality.
"We can now expect to see the school curriculum changed to the end that our children will be taught this perversion as if it were a good thing

The trick the Left has played is making homosexuals into a “minority,” and the Christian teaching on sexual morality into “hate” and “discrimination.”
One strategy some people might try is to enunciate Christian morality without any reference to any kind of groups.
E.g.: All deliberate seeking of venereal pleasure, except in marital acts which are apt for the generation of life, is grave matter.
I’d like to see anybody get all huffy and offended over that statement.

I would say the “Church” of Scotland is no longer a true church.
The Free Church of Scotland sounds more like the true heirs to the legacy of John Knox and the Scottish Reformation-

The Church of Scotland has been apostate for a long time now. I don’t know much about the Free Church, but last year I listened to a sermon by one her ministers and it was full of biblical truth Knox could Amen.
That’s good to read. May the numbers of the Free Church grow. And may this discharged chaplain find and join them. Perhaps he could get a job there?
