New role shows pope’s high praise for Cardinal Sean O’Malley

Recent moves inside the Holy See to sideline conservative cardinals have solidified Cardinal Sean O’Malley’s status as a Vatican insider who has the ear of Pope Francis, experts on the Catholic Church say.

“It cements his role as a trusted advisor,” said the Rev. James Bretzke, professor of moral theology at Boston College. “I wouldn’t use the term ‘power broker,’ because I think that’s the wrong nuance. In terms of trying to develop a pastoral vision, as well as a strategic plan, O’Malley is clearly in the inner circle, and the single American cardinal that is in the inner circle.”

Cardinal O’Malley is one of the most influential members of the homosexual network that has been so destructive to the Catholic church. He has nothing but contempt for faithful Catholic families. He only cares about his special causes and special friends.

There certainly is a problem with the clergy in Boston. But Cardinal O’Malley inherited the problem when he became bishop there. And it’s a very tough problem to solve, since the state is very liberal, there were a lot of problem priests when he came (some gay, most liberal to the point of being a real problem).

The problem is that he couldn’t just fire hundreds of priests, because there was already a priest shortage.

I haven’t followed it closely, but I don’t believe he has made things worse. He just hasn’t been able to make them much better. That’s my take on it.

I’m also worried about where the Pope stands. But I’m still not certain, one way or the other.

He actively promotes the lavender mafia in Boston. The situation is disgusting, and frankly it's alarming to see his assumption to a position of influence in Rome.

From the article referenced here is a very good description of Cardinal Sean O’Malley his network of homosexual priests.

“To protect themselves from accountability for all of the above and other forms of misconduct, many priests habitually lie about almost every part of their lives. The mendacity is then excused with vague incantations about “mental reservation” and “internal forum”, and a vicious cycle is established: unchastity leads to mendacity, and mendacity leads to more unchastity. It should surprise no one that in this poisoned environment prayer ceases, faith collapses, and every form of sinful self-indulgence finds a home. The result is men in the pastoral office who no longer seek to follow the Lord Jesus in the Way of the Cross.”

Another example of Cardinal Sean O’Malley working to promote the homosexual network within the Catholic Church.

I’m getting mixed up with the appointments. Was O’Malley one of the ones appointed to the committee that appoints new bishops?

I was subjected to one of them just this morning. He put homosexuals on a par with the poor, the lame, the needy, etc. and praised and quoted the sicko Richard Rohr. I was forced to walk out.

Here are some of Rohr's thoughts which are too gross to post:

O'Malley promotes and praises the homo priests.

Gang of 8. Perhaps it was his influence that got Wuerl appointed.

“O’Malley promotes and praises the homo priests.”

This kind of stuff makes me angry. they expect Catholic families to sacrifice to support their selfish, immoral lifestyle.

Is their any movement by faithful Catholic families to fight this? Or at least stop contributing to support these people.

Yes, and normal procedures were circumvented in order for Monsignor Garrity to procure the position at St. Catherine (a formerly orthodox parish). One of the first things he did was to pointedly add “sexual orientation” to the parish description in the bulletin.

I’ve found a beautiful Poor Clare Monastery in Arizona to support, and a lay Catholic mission in Mexico.
