Pope Francis encouraged Muslims to find hope in the Qur’an. 11 things to know and share.
Harvesting the Fruit of Vatican II ^ | 1/21/2014 | Louie Verrecchio

1. While visiting with a group of refugees at the Sacred Heart parish in Rome on Sunday, Pope Francis said:

“Sharing our experience in carrying that cross, to expel the illness within our hearts, which embitters our life: it is important that you do this in your meetings. Those that are Christian, with the Bible, and those that are Muslim, with the Quran. The faith that your parents instilled in you will always help you move on.”

2. As Catholics, we understand that the “illness within our hearts” is more than just the anxiety and sadness that accompany all who mourn and weep in this valley of tears; rather, the true source of man’s embitterment is separation from God.

3. Jesus Christ alone is the Divine Physician by whose “stripes we are healed.” (cf Isa 53)

4. The Qur’an maintains that Our Blessed Lord is but a mere man and nothing more. It is, in other words, a book of blasphemous lies, offensive to Almighty God and to those who love Him in truth.

5. One may cling to the Qur’an until their dying breath, but apart from Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, there is no salvation.

6. Those parents who instilled in their children a “faith” in the false god of the Qur’an have accomplished little more than perpetuating a lie, consigning their offspring to death.

7. Jesus Christ commissioned His Church to baptize all nations in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe everything whatsoever that He has commanded.

8. The Vicar of Christ has a duty to carry out this mission.

9. Pope Francis failed both Our Lord and the Muslims to whom he spoke at Sacred Heart parish in Rome.

10. Pope Francis joined those Muslim parents in perpetuating a lie that essentially consigned their offspring to death.

11. We must pray and fast for the pope.

What now? Pass this along to those who as yet do not realize the extent of the crisis of faith besetting the Catholic Church in our day; the diabolical disorientation that has taken hold of the sacred hierarchy even to the highest offices in Rome, so they might know for what they must offer oblation in reparation for such grave offenses against the Sacred Heart of Our Blessed Lord.

"Define “bible”"
  1. the collection of sacred writings of the Christian religion, comprising the Old and New Testaments.
  2. Also called Hebrew Scriptures. the collection of sacred writings of the Jewish religion: known to Christians as the Old Testament.

Martin Luther never read or even saw a Bible until he was in a monastery. How did that monastery come to be?

John 21: 25 “But there are also many other things which Jesus did which, if they were written every one, the world itself. I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.”

This why we have the Catholic Church. The rest is all heresy!

John 21: 25 “But there are also many other things which Jesus did which, if they were written every one, the world itself. I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.” (Bible Douay-Rheims)

You are correct about teachings but Christ entrusted to Peter the Rock, His Church to faithfully instruct ONE truth, not the 35, 000 heresies spawned by the evil of Lutheran Protestantism, Calvinism, Wesleyan and you get the picture -go check Jim Jones and David Koresh, and the rest of the heretics form Rev. Moon to Billy Grahams to Swaggarts to Joel Osteens to TD Jakes and the rest of the clowns who claim to crack open a Bible (Books authenticated by the Church. These books we call the Bible did not fall from the skies) and preach what “they” perceive is their truth.

No Mass, No Eucharist (all of which have been authenticated by Scripture, Tradition, and Revelation) and these heretics think they have it right. All they do is feed on the gullible low-information Christians (Tammy Faye Baker: Pass The Loot-PTL) and before long they have made quite a bit of dough for themselves and their families. ala Joel Osteens and Rick Warrens!

"Tolerance" has no part in the Kingdom of God and anything that contradicts the catholic cult's false teachings is "heresy." We get it...God does NOT "tolerate" evil.

You're absolutely right and that is a most excellent post. But I would like to share this from a slightly different perspective.

Our loving God is perfect love and patience and kindness. He is also perfect justice and righteousness. He wants us to be that way as well.

People wills are bent towards sin. We know the vices of unbelievers. They cannot help themselves because their minds are darkened.

But for the church there exists around us false teachers and false prophets-unbelievers who purpose is to bring in destructive heresy. These are the people who in the last days will cry out, "Lord, did we not do (fill in the blank) in your name?" It is to these people our Lord will say, "I never knew you." For you see, it's not about what we did, but what He did.

And don't think for a moment believers don't relish in false teachings, heresy, false religions, etc. This is the nature of our deceptive hearts. Although believers do not practice sin, we still sin. We like to think we are working for the kingdom, when it is Christ working through us. For without Him we can do nothing.

God patiently tries to guide true believers away from all of this to become more like Him. It is believers who strives against God's will, wanting to do our will. Our Lord Jesus has set us free the bondage of sin, but still our hearts deceive us and we would run back to Egypt if it wasn't for our Lord's pastoral care.

So the reason tolerance has no part in the Kingdom of God is simply because God desire is for true believers to be perfect as He is perfect. He wants for us the very best-that is the love of God. The real people who fight against this to varying levels is all of us; unbelievers, tares in the church, and, yes, even believers. We don't want to recognize God's handiwork. Unbelievers fight against it even recognizing God. Tares try to mislead people from away from the perfection of God. And believers fight against submitting to God's will. It is we who are intolerant of God.

John 21:25... Yeah... The mormons use the same scripture to explain why they need the book of mormon. Seems y'all's god can't speak simply enough for the meek, uneducated common man to understand. My God on the other hand is the God of everyone and His will is that NO MAN should perish but have ever lasting life; not just the few that can pay enough penance. Next...

"but Christ entrusted to Peter the Rock..."
See... This is the foundation of catholic's error. "JESUS CHRIST" is the "ROCK" not Peter. The minds of catholics have been twisted into believing the lie that "Peter" is the "Rock" and upon that lie they've accepted all the other lies the un-Holy See has build upon it.
I'm not trying to offend but rather... to enlighten. The Catholic cult was first the Babylonian cult (a religious system) that worshiped the Sun god Baal, who in his earthly form was named Nimrod - you can read about Nimrod in Genesis. This false religion predates ALL other "religions" and has NO PLACE with God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit.
No amount of spin is going to change this fact.
As I said... It would behoove people to first check out the group they are about to join before joining them and if you profess to be a "Christian" read the bible. Let God reveal Himself to you and not some arrogant, sinful oligarchy of pious ignoramus'. Let me put this another way. Catholics like to look to and try to cite Peter as an example. Well... first let me say that the "Peter" that catholics worship and the "Peter" I know are two different "Peters". The "Peter" that I know is the one in the bible and he, along with the fellow disciples, were asked, "When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."
People cannot give revelation about God. All we can do is present the material. Only God can reveal Himself. People don't need mediators interceding for us. Jesus Christ is the only mediator we need however... For a season God has given some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ... And again... NO WHERE in scripture are popes, cardinals, nuns, alter boys, etc. mentioned.

And your "pass the loot" comment. HA HA HA HA..... Seriously? Do you have a clue how much money the catholic cult has extracted from it's parishioners since it's renaming in 378 AD? Have you ever seen Notre Dame? The Vatican? Have you ever considered the centuries spent building such structures all in the name of the "Catholic Church"? And the artwork, artifacts, etc. while they still, to this day con little old ladies out of every cent, peso or jewel they can?
Can we all say "hypocrites?" HA HA HA HA HA.... And please... Don't even try to say that catholicism has been "authenticated by scripture." Scripture itself exposes catholicism for the fraud it is.
I've never claimed that those protestant preachers you hate are any better than the catholic cult. What I've said and will continue to say is that NO MAN cometh to the Father but by Jesus Christ. There is no other way. To preach any other doctrine is... how do you say it? HERESY.
Sitting down and reading your bible might actually open your eyes.
Look... You're happy where you are. Suicide bombers are happy where they are. What can I say? I'm happy being seated at God's right hand in Heavenly places (Eph. 2:6). You and any other person that wishes to join me can. Any person that wishes to continue chasing unicorns can do that as well.

"Who chose which books?"

God. And they weren't "books." They were letters. I understand that the catholics like to exclude God from the equation as catholics don't like to accept that God is in control but He is. The catholic cult has puffed itself up for centuries because God saw fit to use them, much the same way he used Egypt's Pharaoh, to accomplish His will. God used the powers of the day (the reformed babylonian cult - aka The Roman/Catholic Church) to amass a collection of letters written by select Apostles. He later used a confused King of England to bring about the existence of an "authorized" English version. Neither of the vehicles God used for His work's fulfillment are any better than the other. What's important is the end product.

My God is the creator of all that is. He is more than capable of making sure the "letters" He want's compiled will be compiled. He is also able to make sure that the translations from the original languages can be translated into English or any other language He wants. God has spoken through the mouth of a jackass, written on a wall and revealed himself through many other mediums. This does NOT make the mediums special. Even the Apostles are warned that before they can become a pillar in God's temple they must first overcome the sin of the old man and the world. There is NO OTHER WAY to do this than through Jesus Christ. Catholicism will not get anyone into the kingdom of God.

"And how where those sacred writings of Christians assembled into one book?"

Well, let's see. God used men to collect the letters of a select few Apostles and the Hebrew's tanakh to be compiled into what is now known as the Christian bible. Much the same way He used Pharaoh to free His people, God used the powers of the day (at the time it was the reformed babylonian religion renamed the Catholic Church, or Roman Church) to collect and compile the first bible. Later God used a confused English king to order the translation of all those letters and scrolls into the English language however... just because God used pharaoh, the catholic cult, king James or any other medium to accomplish His will does not make any of those mediums special. Hell... He even spoke through the mouth of a jackass, wrote on a wall and revealed Himself in a host of other ways. This does not make any of these special, ironically... the catholic cult has puffed itself up for centuries and deceived billions of people over the millennia thinking they are something special.
They're not.
I know that catholics have a hard time with this but God is in control. Being used by God does not give one a leg up in God's eyes or make someone any more special than another. Even the Apostles are warned that before they can become a pillar in God's temple they must first mortify the deeds of the old man and overcome the world. We must make our enemies our footstool.
NO ONE can reach God through the catholic teachings, by paying penance, belonging to the catholic "Church", blowing themselves up, drinking koolaide and riding a comet to paradise or licking any other toads.
There is only ONE WAY to God and that is through Jesus Christ.

Sorry for the redundancy. I thought that I’d accidentally deleted post number 52 before posting it as it did not show up for several minutes so I answered another of Ray76’s posts and reiterated several points I tried to make in what is now not a deleted post.

If it were not for those you hate you would never have known about Jesus, barring personal revelation. So good of you to know that only you have the truth, as determined by you alone without assistance from anyone. Do you have followers that live in your compound?

Ray76 - "If it were not for those you hate you would never have known about Jesus, barring personal revelation."

Whats-wrong-with-the-truth - Who exactly is it I "hate?"

Ray76 - "So good of you to know that only you have the truth, as determined by you alone"

Wait... As I understand it MOST "Christians" do NOT profess to believe the tripe the catholic cult spews meaning that MOST Christians believe as I do and the bible teaches "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
I know that the catholic cult likes to claim all "Christians" as members of their cult in order to inflate their numbers but MOST Christians have nothing to do with your cult.
Tell me... Why are you afraid to admit that you have NEVER read your own bible? Afraid you might learn something? Afraid your mind might be expanded or are you like most catholics believing that the scriptures are the forbidden fruit plucked off the tree of knowledge of good and evil?
It's interesting how you try to twist what you want to read and then try to spin it against me while ignoring all of what's written.

Ray76 - "... without assistance from anyone."

Whats-wrong-with-the-truth - So... In your mind and in your dogma God doesn't exist? It's not possible for man to have a personal relationship with God hence God isn't "anyone"? You've obviously never met God have you?

Ray76 - "Do you have followers that live in your compound?"

Whats-wrong-with-the-truth - LOL... Cute. You've lost this debate because you don't have anything to counter the truth so you resort to ad hominem. LOL... typical.
