‘FANTASY’ FRANCIS?
The American Spectator ^ | 1/22/14 | George Neumayr

Posted on 01/23/2014 4:54:43 PM PST by ebb tide

While some of the media’s claims about Francis are excessive, at least one is dismayingly real, one which Coppen never allows: that Francis is more liberal than his predecessors. Indeed, not a week passes without some new papal statement or action to puzzle conservatives and embolden liberals.

How do you think Lucifer ended up in Hell? Do you think he’ll be forgiven?

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

So far, claims of Francis’ liberalism are proven false and he shows himself to be a traditionalist, and an ardent one at that.

Lucifer is not a human. He isn’t capable of repentance like humans are. Jesus did not die for him, remember.

Caiphas, Foxman, Skorka: take your pick.

Okay. Find the finest brush you can and show me a Jew that believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Nor was Jesus' Blood shed for "all". Remember?

Ever hear of a completed Jew? AND...even if the person is not a completed Jew and is a good Jew, then he believes in the same God as we do despite his lack of understanding.

Yes, St. Peter comes to mind.

Only God can answer that question...which is something you SHOULD know.

Jesus Himself, actually.
Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. — Matthew 12:31

Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; / but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin … Mark 3:28-29
The context of blasphemy against the Hagios Pneumos is in the letter to the Hebrews:
For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, / but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. / Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. / How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? / For we know Him who said, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY.” And again, “THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE.” / It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. — Hebrews 10:26-31
On top of that, Jesus has deliberately blinded a great deal of humanity for His purposes:
HE HAS BLINDED THEIR EYES AND HE HARDENED THEIR HEART, SO THAT THEY WOULD NOT SEE WITH THEIR EYES AND PERCEIVE WITH THEIR HEART, AND BE CONVERTED AND I HEAL THEM. — John 12:40, referencing Isaiah 6:10

Could name a few “of our time”? I assume they all became Catholics, correct?

It takes the Sacrament of Confession to be forgiven by God.

Are you a Roman Catholic?

I don’t even know what you’re idea of a “complete Jew” is. In my opinion, the only complete Jew is now a Catholic. Is that what you’re talking about?

You mean during the consecration, a majority of Catholic churches are speaking falsely by saying “shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven”? I have to shut my ears when the Mass comes on EWTN?

1 John 2:2 is utterly clear. “The whole world” is unambiguous.
