Ever since I was in college, I’ve heard liberals - especially feminists - disparage marriage as slavery, as legalized prostitution, as a trap, as antiquated, as unnatural, as a tool of male dominance, as a prop of capitalism, and every other slur that you can imagine. But suddenly, when gays wanted to marry, it became noble and sacred.
All the replies I’ve received so far have been good, but thanks for getting in there all the charges that liberals made against marriage before they openly went after it for homosexual unions. I’ve mentioned this numerous times on FR, but I’m a Christian woman who lived as a lesbian briefly back in the 90’s. I’m thankful Jesus delivered me from that way of living, which is truly hopeless. Even with “marriage” it will never work. It’s another of Satan’s lies that it will.
