I first saw him with Mike Witney, in the Gabe and Walker Falstaff beer commercials, back in the 70s. They were pretty funny.

Pastor Rodrigo did the right thing. It must have been very difficult for him, because Calvary Chapel DOES believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit manifesting in our own time, which means that he believes in prophecies and miracles, as LONG AS THEY AGREE WITH THE BIBLE.

The ‘Prophetess’ said “Get out of MY church,” and then encouraged her followers to attack Pastor Rodrigo, and she called him “The devil”.

Whether or not one believes in the Gifts, it is obvious to anyone that this so-called “Prophetess” was glorifying HERSELF rather than Jesus.

And, if I may add, For a Charismatic to call out a false prophet takes a very special kind of discernment and courage, because, as a Charismatic, one believes that prophecies and miracles DO exist in our day and age, and a pastor would MOST CERTAINLY NOT want to discount genuine holy things as the work of the devil.

When the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of beelzebub, Jesus told them that was “Blaspheming the Holy Spirit”, the only UNPARDONABLE sin.

When pastor Rodrigo held up his bible and proclaimed Jesus, the “prophetess” attacked him and accused him of being a devil.

Just...WOW...

I have been in the Music Ministry for over 30 years, and have witnessed many people like dayna muldoon. However, this was the first instance i have ever seen of a false prophet being called out right in the middle of the service!

God Bless Scott Rodriguez! If Lakeland wasn’t so far away (Florida is a L-O-N-G State!) I would like to attend his church sometime.

WOW!!!

I’d go to that guy’s church in a heartbeat.

I wish we’d see more of that kind of exposing of false prophets because they certainly are abounding, especially in charismatic circles.

And when you question them, they react JUST LIKE that.....um.... *lady* for lack of a better term.

Public call to repentance to all who have attacked elders in the body of Christ without sufficient evidence to bring attack against them. A pastor, or other office holder, is an elder in the body of Christ. The scripture says that we are not to take an accusation against an elder (a pastor or other officeholder) unless we have sufficient evidence to do so. I am very grieved in my spirit over attack of this woman by Reformed believers who have attacked her because she is a Spirit-filled believer. 1 Timothy 5:19
Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. (There was no opportunity given for her to tell “her side”... and on the basis of an attack vid... it’s going around attack this Pastor. I publicly call to repentance.) This is the church where she was or is a copastor... http://lirevival.com/ This is the church’s statement of beliefs. This is a Christian church. http://lirevival.com/index.php/about-us/what-we-believe

In the vid... she does call him forward as a man of God. She is moved of God to offer to pray for him to receive more of God. Deceptively, he does not refuse though he rejects prayer. Then, rather than maintaining order, he lashes out against a pastor by attacking her for holding a tent revival and miracle crusade. He says that she “should be preaching the blood of Jesus”. She is a born-again Christian. His reaction was indeed a religious devil. Christians do get overtaken by a religious devil. She was not in error in anything she said. Nor can she be called a “false prophet”. She is a born-again Christian who ministers Jesus Christ.
