Belvue, KS Sources close to Pope Michael are strongly denying reports out Monday morning claiming that the pontiff will be retiring at the end of February. His Holiness is deeply saddened by all the lies and hullabaloo that have been spread about him in the papers this morning stating that he is retiring due to health issues, a source reported to his mailman. His Holiness is in perfect health
in fact, he has all the energy and vigor of a 56-year-old layman from Kansas. Another source, his auntie, who was present at the press conference with the mailman also went on to affirm that Pope Michael was in good health, saying that he was at that moment excersising on the trampoline in the backyard. At press time Pope Michael was being informed that the news coverage was actually covering the retirment of Pope Benedict XVI, to which he is reported as bitterly responding, Oh
Okay so I had to figure out what Eye of the Tiber is.... but I understand now.
No doubt some folks will be all in a dither
That clown has as much right to call himself the Vicar of Christ as the Argentine Bergoglio, that is no right whatsoever. I would hate to stand before The Lord on the day of judgment with the title “pope” on my earthly resume, whether Roman pope or corn pope.
wonder why you never see the Pope and Yogi Berra at the same time???
David Allen Bawden (born September 22, 1959 in Oklahoma City), who calls himself “Pope Michael”, is an American citizen and a conclavist claimant to the papacy. He stated in 2009 that he had approximately 30 “solid” followers.
Bawden was elected by a group of six laypeople, which included himself and his parents, who had come to believe that the Catholic Church had seceded from the Catholic faith, and that there had been no legitimate Popes elected since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958.
Bawden believes that all the Popes since the death of Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958 are modernists, heretics, and apostates, and that, therefore, their elections are invalid. He considers them to have incurred latae sententiae, or automatic excommunication, for violating Pope Pius X’s laws.
A feature-length documentary has been made about Bawden. Bawden was the subject in a chapter of the 2004 book: What’s the Matter with Kansas? by American journalist and historian Thomas Frank.
Just another Protestant. And he was elected by his mother.
What if it’s really other way around and Michael is right? Rome has indeed slipped into a death spiral of apostasy and he represents the true Roman Catholic faith?
How many Popes are there all told?
Up to 440,000!
Yeah, that's it for sure. Can't wait for the Dan Brown book, eh?
“What if its really other way around and Michael is right?”
That is both logically and physically impossible. I read his book in 1995. He was wrong. His arguments were false. His election was a sham (he was elected by 5 people if I recall the correct number; none of whom had any authority to vote for a pope). Even other sedevacantists don’t recognize his claims.
“Rome has indeed slipped into a death spiral of apostasy and he represents the true Roman Catholic faith?”
Rome is a city. The Church has not “slipped into a death spiral of apostasy” and this moron does not represent anyone other than his tiny cult of followers.
I have no problem with him.....I live in Logansport Indiana and we have a HUGE state mental hospital here.....and we could use the business!!!
upon this rock I will build My church.....I will give unto you the keys to the kingdom of Heaven......whos' sins that you shall forgiv shall be forgiven.....I will be with you until the end of time.............o you really think that He was kidding???
I believe that verse with all my heart. The difference is I believe what it really means whereas you believe what Rome has told you it means. Have you ever given serious consideration to any view other than Rome’s?
The Papacys Claim to have the Authority of the Apostle Peter
“For most Catholics, the authority of the Pope as derived from Peter is the main cornerstone of their faith. For others, it is the lifesaver to fall back on when all else fails. The Lord clearly stated that upon His divinity as the Son of the living God, and His role as the Messiah, He is, in fact, the Rock (petra) on which His Church is built. Nonetheless, the Papacy declares its Church to be founded on the Apostle Peter (petros) alone. This is the lynchpin of Roman Catholicism. In this DVD, Pastor W. J. Mencarow, along with Richard Bennett, clearly documents the historical facts behind Papal power pretensions. Quotations from Scripture and other sources are given. Photographs, paintings, and maps illustrate biblical truth and documented historical facts.”
The Testimony of a Former Priest
” Richard Bennetts testimony shows how difficult it was for him as a Catholic to give up Church tradition. The form of godliness that the Roman Catholic Church displays makes it most difficult for a Catholic to see where the real problem lies. Every person must determine by what authority he/she knows truth. For Papal Rome, the ultimate authority lies in the decisions and decrees of the reigning pope. In her own words, The Supreme Pontiff, in virtue of his office, possesses infallible teaching authority when ... he proclaims with a definitive act that a doctrine of faith or morals is to be held as such. Yet, according to the Bible, it is Gods Word that is the authority by which truth is known. It was man-made traditions that caused the Reformers to demand the biblical standard for salvation; namely, sinners are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. As you watch and listen to Richard Bennetts testimony, we encourage you to study this and understand it for yourself.”
I encourage one and all to watch and learn.
