Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Abba, Father Who Art in Heaven,
Blessed Be Your Holy Name!
How we love to sing Your praises,
To Lift Up Your Holy Name in Worship,
For You Alone are Worthy of Praise.
For You are Holy, Righteous and Just,
And Glorious in Majesty!
You Alone Are The One True God.
Perfect in All Your Ways
Ancient of Days,
King of Kings,
And Lord of Lords!

Father, forgive us for doubting Your Word,
Forgive us for even entertaining the lies of the enemy of our souls!
Forgive us for thinking we can be "gods"!
And forgive us for not taking responsibility for our actions,
Blaming others for our sin,
And trying to vainly "Cover Up".
Lead us not into temptation,
And deliver us from evil!

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Good Morning!
Today We Begin a New Study, where we will discuss a recurring theme throughout the Hebrew Scriptures and Christian Bible. The Recurring Image is a Tree, Large Plant, a Bush or Branch, or Wood.

From the Very beginning of the Torah, the theme presents Itself.

The First Tree mentioned in the Garden is The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We do not Know why God forbade Adam and Eve this Knowledge, except perhaps to give them the opportunity to CHOOSE Whom they would serve...God or the evil one. It is not so much the loss of Innocence that was the Tragedy. It was the CHOICE that was made to disobey.

The next Tree in the Garden was the Fig Tree. This is the Tree that Adam and Eve stripped leaves from in a vain attempt to cover their own sin. As we look further into Scripture, we will see the Fig Tree again. It is a Symbol of The Physical Israel. It is also a Symbol of prosperity (Figs are VERY Rich!). The Leaves of the Fig Tree look like the Hebrew letter "Shin" which is the First Sound in "Shaddai" One of the oldest Names of God. The Fig leaves, were, of course, inadequate to cover Adam and Eve's transgression, and God had to shed blood to provide skins for them as clothing.

The Third Tree, guarded by the Cherubim, is the Tree of Life. The Symbol of the Tree of Life is VERY Popular in Judaism, and is the Leading Symbol in the Zohar and Other Ancient Jewish Books and Art. We will not see much of the Tree of Life again until we get to Revelation.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
