Homosexuality? De facto unions? "Time to open up to diversity," says Italian archbishop
Rorate caeli ^ | 3/11/14 | New Catholic

Posted on 03/13/2014 12:18:19 PM PDT by ebb tide

Yesterday, the Archbishop of Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) received a group of religion journalists for his annual chat, and the talk was moderated by a famous Vaticanist in Italian public television and radio network RAI, Raffaele Luise.

The evening concluded with a debate in depth on the matter of homosexuality. Both Luise and the archbishop praise, in substance, the opening of the Church regarding gays and de facto couples. Particularly for Luise, it is necessary on this theme, "a cultural revolution, that contemplates the fact that homosexuality is not a deviancy, but a human attitude, and not just that, considering that almost 500 natural species display homosexuality." "The new paradigm - says bishop Castellani - is that every diversity is richness. In my life as a parish priest, I saw and lived so many situations [and he describes a few]; and I am convinced that the time has come for Christians to open up to diversity."

A church that takes its cues from fallen human culture rather than following God’s word is worse than useless.

Unbelievable! Apparently the church has been infected with so many queer clergy, that they are now saying homosexuality is not a sin. Recently, Cardinal Dolan applauded and practically congratulated the homosexual football player who came out.

If "the church" ever normalizes homosexuality and/or abortion, prepare for the end times as per Revelations.

Another sure sign will be when the Great Pantsuited Whore of Little Rock becomes President (a bit of paraphrasing there).

Our problem, my problem, is that the other day the Holy Father said the Gospel “is not proclaimed with doctrinal beatings, but with sweetness.” Also here, I would please ask “normalists” and timewasters to abstain. Even I know that effectively the Gospel is announced like that – apart from the fact that John the Baptist had rather brusque methods himself, and the Lord defines him “as the greatest among those born of woman”.

Silly John the Baptist! Didn't he know he was supposed to revel in Herod's 'diversity'?

"However, I still have the problem of that seven-year-old son of mine and three older ones too. ... Because last night I couldn't sleep. And because I’d like to understand – and ask the readership ... a question: What more has to happen in the Church for Catholics to stand up, once and for all, and shout their indignation from the rooftops? Attention: I am addressing individual Catholics, not associations, secret meetings, movements, sects which for years have been managing the brains of the faithful for the benefit of third parties, dictating the line the followers have to take. These groups seem to me to be placed under the care of those minus habens [of lesser intelligence] and headed from afar by more or less charismatic individuals, who are more or less trustworthy. No, no: here I am making an appeal to individual consciences, to their hearts, their faith and their virility. Before it is too late".

It’s like the whole developed world has ‘gone nuts’ within the same two year period. 50 years from now, those of us still around will discover there WAS something in the distilled water after all, something that changed the way many, chose to express themselves. Monsanto may be involved, don’t be surprised. Of course it all may come down to money, and influence, plus the chance to obtain more of both. That would be the most logical explanation of what is not logical.

No. That won't be happening, since God has already made His opinion perfectly clear on the matter.

Perverts in the priesthood and the episcopacy who slyly undermine the teachings of the Church in order to corrupt from within are the problem here. They've been emboldened under this papacy and are crawling out from under their various rocks.

I think the "natural species" that catholic modernists, such as Castellani, Kasper, Marx, Francis, Dolan, O'Malley, Maradiaga, etc., are most like is the European Common Cuckoo bird:

About 56 of the Old World species and 3 of the New World species (Pheasant, Pavonine, and Striped) are brood parasites, laying their eggs in the nests of other birds.[14] These species are obligate brood parasites, meaning that they only reproduce in this fashion. In addition to the above noted species, yet others sometimes engage in non-obligate brood parasitism, laying their eggs in the nests of members of their own species in addition to raising their own young. The best-known example is the European Common Cuckoo. The shells of the eggs of brood-parasites are usually thick.[16] They have two distinct layers with an outer chalky layer that is believed to provide resistance to cracking when the eggs are dropped in the host nest.[17] The cuckoo egg hatches earlier than the host's, and the cuckoo chick grows faster; in most cases the chick evicts the eggs or young of the host species. The chick has no time to learn this behavior, so it must be an instinct passed on genetically. The chick encourages the host to keep pace with its high growth rate with its rapid begging call[18] and the chick's open mouth which serves as a sign stimulus.[19] Cuckoos have evolved various strategies for getting their egg into a host nest. Different species use different strategies based on host defensive strategies. Female cuckoos have evolved secretive and fast laying behaviors, but in some cases, males have been shown to lure host adults away from their nests so that the female can lay her egg in the nest.[20] Some host species may try to directly prevent cuckoos laying eggs in their nest in the first place – birds whose nests are at high risk of cuckoo-contamination are known to mob cuckoos to drive them out of the area.[21] Parasitic cuckoos are grouped into gentes, with each gens specializing in a particular host. There is some evidence that the gentes are genetically different from one another.

And the cuckoos have been laying eggs in the Catholic Church for hundreds of years. But when Pope John XXIII opened the windows, thousands of more cuckoos flew in to open arms at St Peter's.

Here’s an alternative plan. Create a cloistered religious order specifically for homosexuals. When not sodomizing each other, they can seek spiritual guidance in prayer to overcome their earthly compulsions, without annoying everybody else.

Indeed, while due to the Fall, "the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." (Romans 8:22)

Perhaps man should imitate species which sometimes consume their mate or offspring. Or be like bedbugs, in which the male sometimes hypodermically copulates with both females and males, and lives on blood.

I’m a Christian woman who actually lived as a lesbian about 20 years ago, but praise the Lord, He delivered from it. I also lived in an 80% Catholic (15% mainline Protestant) area all my life until the Lord recently led me to move to the “Bible belt.”

From all I know about God’s Word, the Catholic Church and the “homosexual agenda,” it seems like it may have been behind Catholicism for who knows how long, getting it to incorporate heresies (like that some believers are saints, so that the best-known understanding of the words contradicts the Bible’s) and making what’s relatively unimportant vital (numerous conclusions about Mary, among other things). The only thing supporting these beliefs has been the idea that the priesthood can’t go wrong.
