Heavenly Father –

Even in the midst of chaos, may we remember that Providence overrules the affairs of this world. And during dark times, we are grateful Your hand had spared President Reagan from near assassination.

Therefore, teach us, Lord, to have confidence in You though the events around us seem so discouraging. We ask for mercy on our nation and Your wisdom to guide us. May we redeem the time and play a part in Your plan to Your glory.

We ask for protection of our heroes, home and abroad, from the assault of the enemy on all fronts – morally, mentally, and physically. Bless all these brave men and women in your special care.

In Jesus Name we pray,
