Of the many different natural disasters that exist, nothing is more terrifying and devastating as the awesome power of an earthquake. In just a few moments of time an earthquake can unleash catastrophic damage and the death of multitudes. Those who live in the Los Angeles area in particular have always been mindful and anticipating the "Big One" and this week this REALITY has been experienced is a series of big earthquakes which have caused its millions of inhabitants to consider this REALITY. In the back of their minds they know that one day this "Big One" will finally occur, yet they go about their lawless existence with no fear (Rom. 1:18-32, 3:10-18). This city of Los Angeles is the world center for the music industry, entertainment industry including the adult entertainment industry and individuals from around the globe who adhere to a godless bohemian, secular, progressive, relativistic and immoral mindset flock to this city for its cultural trendsetting ways and lawless indulgences. Almighty God has been very gracious to this city and its decadent EXPONENTIAL influence upon our nation and world. These earthquakes are just REALITY checks to make this city and region to consider that one day they all will give an account to the RIGHTEOUS Judge and Creator of time and ETERNITY (Rom. 1:32, Heb. 9:27, Rev. 20:11-15).
These earthquakes in L.A. have cause little damage but sent many into the streets fearfully thinking of the worst. Who can forget the recent earthquake in Japan, New Zealand and in Haiti? As many in L.A. "shake off" the REALITY of the "Big One" so many also shake off the REALITY of the Day of the Lord and the ETERNAL REALITY of the Final Day (Matt. 24, 1 Thess. 5:3, Rev. 6-16, Rev. 20:11-15).
Earthquakes in the Seven Year Tribulation
Earthquakes are just one of the many natural disasters that will come upon the world during this seven year period called the Day of the Lord. Pestilence, famine, global war, supernatural judgments, demonic global oppression, and demonic dominance unparalleled since the dawn of man will also EXPONENTIALLY transpire during this time of wrath (Isa. 24; Matt. 24; Rev. 6-19). It will be at the near end of the seven year tribulation (Rev. 6-16) that a global earthquake of EXPONENTIAL proportions will rock every fault line throughout the world and will cause ALL mountains and cities to crumble and every island to be swept away (Rev. 16:17-20).
Do You Believe?
My friend, one must be absolutely blind to miss the overwhelming evidence found in Almighty God’s Word which describe the end-time events leading up to the Day of the Lord. As today's ever increasing EXPONENTIAL signs point to the Day of the Lord and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, in which He will judge the world and its inhabitants for their multitude of transgressions against their Creator (Dan. 2:43-44, 7:13-14, Matt. 13:30, 40-43, 47-50, Rev. 19:11-21), may you be prepared to receive and believe the precious truths and promises found in Almighty God’s Word today, and to believe them with all your heart (John 1:12, 3:16-17, Heb. 11:1-6). These ever increasing signs point to the Day of the Lord and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
My dear friend, do you personally know the Lord Jesus as your Savior and propitiation? If not, we strongly encourage you to invest your time and be sure that you do. In Him alone are found all the remedies for our fallen humanity and pardon for all our transgressions against His ETERNAL, RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES (John 3:16-17; 1 Cor. 1:30-31). Place your trust in Him today before you find yourself amidst the soon coming Day of Wrath.

We’ve had a lot if natural disasters, wars, etc. In today’s news we have earthquakes and pestilence(possible Ebola virus leaving Guinea by plane). Let us keep racking up the points the time is near.

Selco covers this in this article many times people just can not except that a breakdown is occurring even as they watch it happening before their eyes. Why don’t they realize it? It’s caused by a condition called ‘Normalcy Bias’ a mental state people enter when facing a disaster.
It causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects. This often results in situations where people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of governments to include the populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster never has occurred then it never will occur. It also results in the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs. People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to something they have not experienced before. People also tend to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible, seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation.

You either prepare and stand on your own beholden to no one or you become dependent on others to provide your basic needs and become their ‘serf’. Me I don’t want to be beholden to anyone for providing what is needed for me and mine. I certainly don’t want to have to kiss some ‘gubberment’ third class bureaucratic to try and coax some help from them, I don’t want some ‘jack booted’ thug herding me in line and telling me where to stand, sit, eat or sleep. And last but not least I don’t want to be shut up in with a bunch of ‘zombies’ and have to worry about not only trying to get basic necessities but having to fight to keep what I manage to get.

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, cash (I myself have been putting up change for the past few years both for the metal content and the fact that using change places to make what purchases you can will move you down the the list of possible marks during shtf), tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

Just had another jolt about a 1/2 hour ago. Probably an after shock from yesterdays quake.
Felt in Huntington Beach..lots of shaking going on!
My parents only few miles from La Habra area..my poor Moms nerves are rattled, not so much because of the quakes but the dogs won’t calm down.
Oh absolutely, and D.C. most definately! I guess all of us right thinking people need to have a good talk with the Lord and and figure out where he wants to sit tight while he cleanses the nation. : )

Anyone powerful enough to create earthquakes can certainly just focus that wrath upon the deserving. No need to take out any innocents.
