My native place of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis has its large share of loony dissent. Some of it is so strange that you wonder if you are actually imagining it.
That said, I am not making this up.
From the Minneapolis Star Sickle comes this big puppet liturgical horror for Palm Sunday at the über-weird St. Joan of Arc parish, in the running for the weirdest parish in these USA.

St. Joan’s has had Gloria Steinem in to PREACH. And they give Communion to Muslims.
Some places, like St. Joan’s and Holy Redemmer in San Francisco, can’t possibly be fixed. They need to be leveled. Just obliterated.
Is that Baal standing behind the celebrant? If I were a child, I would have been crying, and have nightmares into perpetuity from being exposed to that.
I wouldn’t have been crying but my respect for that church would have been severely, maybe perpetually, damaged.
