Cameron Rhodes was one of the most gifted young men I ever met.
He was a very young doctoral student who could literally learn any language in a matter of weeks.
Fifteen years ago, while at seminary here in Fort Worth, he tutored homeschool kids in the language of their choice.
My son wanted Latin to improve his SAT verbal (math was already great).
Cameron taught him enough in one semester to help him CLEP out of his language requirement in college.
At the end of my son’s time with him, Cameron just happened to mention that he got a job translating some Latin manuscripts that SWBTS had in their archives that had never been touched.
We found out later how much of an impact those translations had.
