The Rev. Mark Crow, founder of the multisite Victory Church in Oklahoma, resigned Tuesday after confessing to marital unfaithfulness, said Executive Pastor Dale Swanson in a statement.
The Victory Church family and staff are praying for Mark, that the same grace we all experience and draw comfort from in our own spiritual journey, will be ever present in Marks transition to healing and wholeness, Swanson continued.
Crow, a televangelist who is well-known because of his connection to Oral Roberts University, founded Victory Church with his wife, Jennifer, in 1994.
Mark will be focusing his full attention on his personal relationship with God, and beginning the process of bringing healing to the fractured relationships in his life and family. Victory Church is fully committed to providing the counselors and ministers who will guide him through the process of reconciliation with God, and ensuring the best possible outcome for this next season in his life, Swanson added.
The multisite church draws more than 8,000 people each weekend.
IIRC, Sharon Daugherty (widow of Billy Joe) is the Pastor at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa. The one across from ORU.
I have a feeling that’s what lots of cheating men tell themselves.
This isn’t a Tulsa church, it’s Oklahoma City.

Mark Crow’s blog and Facebook are down, and their church website has been scrubbed. It says “Pastor Jennifer” but no mention of Mark.
I feel for this church. There are going to be a lot of hurting people there.
I’m guessing the followers are attracted to the personality and not necessarily Christ.
Self-evident, but don’t expect a cordial response.
On further reflection, this reasoning eliminates the concept of “adultery” entirely. If a participant in a relationship with sex-partner A takes up with sex-partner B, then the relationship with sex-partner A wasn’t a marriage, no matter what the documents say (or A might have believed), so the adventure with B isn’t adultery.
This doesn’t sound, to me, like what God intended, although one can see its utility for a person who wants to have multiple sex-partners without feeling guilty.
Acts 2:41"Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day--about 3,000 in all."
... I wonder what kind of "entertainment" the Apostles were using?
“I am sure he had to resign and was caught.”
I only know the facts in the article. Do you know more?
**based on the exploits of the megachurch pastors**
How about the exploits of Calvinist pastors in small churches? The one I attended 32 yrs ago seemed to have a devout pastor, but 20some yrs later he ‘moved on’ to another woman.
But threads like this are a good meeting place for the WSC (’whited sepulchres club’) /s
