O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve her from all stain, so too You would permit us, purified through her intercession, to come unto You. Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen.

Interesting you didn’t make this a caucus thread.

Welcome to AboutTheRosary.com a place where questions concerning the Rosary and related Marian issues are carefully considered using the Scriptures.

It is written, “Honour thy father and thy mother” (Exodus 20:12, Leviticus 19:3, Deuteronomy 5:16, Matthew 15:4, Mark 7:10, Ephesians 6:2), this commandment was fulfilled perfectly by our Lord Jesus Christ. He honoured His heavenly Father and His earthly mother. We are told to be imitators of Christ. (cf. 1 Corinthians 11:1, Ephesians 5:1) If our Lord did honour His mother Mary perfectly, then what stops us from doing so? Mary herself prophesied saying,

“For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed” (Luke 1:48 RSV)

Why? Because “he who is mighty has done great things for me” she says. (Luke 1:49 RSV) Are you part of the generation that calls her blessed? Think about this.

Virgin Mary

In the Rosary this desire of St. Paul is fully fulfilled:
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8 RSV)

Come pray the Rosary.

Select the day of the week for the corresponding mysteries of the Holy Rosary. Thank you.

Sunday – “Glorious Mysteries”

Monday – “Joyful Mysteries”

Tuesday – “Sorrowful Mysteries”

Wednesday – “Glorious Mysteries”

Thursday – “Luminous Mysteries”

Friday – “Sorrowful Mysteries”

Saturday – “Joyful Mysteries”

My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden,
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with His arm:
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
and the rich He has sent empty away.
He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Magníficat ánima mea Dóminum,
et exsultávit spíritus meus
in Deo salvatóre meo,
quia respéxit humilitátem
ancíllæ suæ.

Ecce enim ex hoc beátam
me dicent omnes generatiónes,
quia fecit mihi magna,
qui potens est,
et sanctum nomen eius,
et misericórdia eius in progénies
et progénies timéntibus eum.
Fecit poténtiam in bráchio suo,
dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui;
depósuit poténtes de sede
et exaltávit húmiles.
Esuriéntes implévit bonis
et dívites dimísit inánes.
Suscépit Ísrael púerum suum,
recordátus misericórdiæ,
sicut locútus est ad patres nostros,
Ábraham et sémini eius in sæcula.

Glória Patri et Fílio
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio,
et nunc et semper,
et in sæcula sæculórum.

Amen.

Very nice site. Thank you for linking it.

This is one of the reasons I come here. I learn of so many wonderful places and people that I would never have learned of otherwise.

Know Mary; Know Jesus.

Especially through the Rosary.

Heavenly Father...I praise your Holy Name...I come boldly before your Throne...
I thank you for my salvation Lord...I thank your for sending your Son to shed his Holy Blood on that vile Cross to pay for all of my sins; past, present and future...And thank you for forgiving all my sins today...
Thank you Lord for the free gift of salvation by grace through faith without any works on my part...
I pray Father that you will lead new Christians and those seeking you to your Holy Scriptures to learn about you...
In Jesus’ name, the one and only mediator between me and you as you have told us in your scriptures, Amen...
