Watchmen on the Wall Conference 2014 -- A Spiritual Challenge to Rev. Franklin Graham

To Rev. Franklin Graham
"Watchmen on the Wall Conference" 2014

Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, J. Vernon McGee, Dr. James Dobson ... all great Christian leaders and bible teachers of America in the 1960s thru 1990s ...

Or were they ?

For all the great works they did for Christ's church in America, IS IT POSSIBLE they made one (1) grave mistake ?

I declare that they did, to the detriment of at least TWO American generations ...

And I respectfully challenge Rev. Franklin Graham (and the other Conference speakers) to ACKNOWLDGE THEIR MISTAKE and APOLOGIZE to their Church Congregations.

These Christian men, along with thousands of other American Pastors are indirectly RESPONSIBLE for:

1964 : Removal of the Bible and Prayer from Public Schools

1973 : U.S. Supreme Court "Roe vs. Wade" ruling, with 63 million aborted babies as of 2014. These Christian men, along with thousnads of other

These Christian leaders's DELIBERATE "ignoring of a CLEAR scriptural principle" led DIRECTLY to these GREAT JUDGEMENTS oF GOD upon The United States in the years past 2000.

1964 : Removal of the Bible and Prayer from Public Schools

Franklin Graham was roughly 12 years old at the time.

P.S. I love all the colorful graphics. If you're going to do crazy rants, you might as well show us where the money went.

How are these men responsible? So they nominated the supreme court justices who later on decided these cases?

Rev. Franklin Graham "isn't" responsible for the events in either 1964 or 1973 ...

but with all due respect to a genuinely great man, Franklin Graham's father (Rev. Billy Graham" "is" indirectly responsible.

Why ?

Because Rev. Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell (et al) accepted Uncle Sam's IRS 501-C3 "bribe money" when the Johnson Admendment was passed in 1954.

Go read the history.

LBJ's 1954 modification of the IRS 501-C3 (existing law) CHANGED EVERYTHING for America's Christian Churches.

Churches VOLUNTARILY accepted "spiritual slavery" inso much as they placed OBEYING the IRS over exclusively obeying the Word of God.

Period.

The LORD's word (scriptures and inspired messages and sermons) WERE NEVER meant to be watered-down simply to make King David, Caesar, Nero, Henry VIII, or "king" Barrack Hussein Obama ...

sleep better at night.

The LORD's word is a SWORD ... not a matter to be trifled with ...

or horse-traded away for a few of Uncle Sam's annual IRS 501-C3 "thirty-pieces of silver" of "pulpit hush money".

Sadly, Rev. BILLY Graham and Rev. Jerry Falwell (et al) ACCEPTED a form of "spiritual castration" when they didn't JETTISON IRS-501-C3 in 1954.

Would Nathan the Prophet have accepted the BRIBE of "pulpit hush money" ... agreeing to not "trouble" the king ?

Would Isaiah have accepted the BRIBE of "pulpit hush money" ... agreeing to not "trouble" the king ?

Would Daniel have accepted the BRIBE of "pulpit hush money" ... agreeing to not "trouble" the king ?

Would John the Baptist have accepted the BRIBE of "pulpit hush money" ... agreeing to not "trouble" the king ?

They WHY do American Christian Churches behave just the OPPOSITE ?

WHY do we American Christians "look the other way" regarding this issue ?

WHY do American Christian Pastors preach against BALAM and Judas Iscariot for their FINANCIAL GREED ...

but CONVENIENTLY "look the other way" regarding their own GREVIOUS spiritual error regarding accepting IRS 501-C3 spiritual slavery ?

WHY do American Christian Pastors proudly preach about Josuha's "For Me and My House we will serve The LORD (exclusively) ...

when in 2014 the evil dictates of Uncle Sam (the "new" pharoah") CONTROL America's Christian Churches ?

Listed below are the Christian Leaders at the "Watchmen on the Wall" 2014 Conference.

I challenge these Christian Leaders with this FACT:

America's Christian Churches have tried every STUPID gimmick over the last fifty (50) years to "keep America a Christian nation".

As a 59-year old Christian man, I've seen EACH NEW GIMMICK fail ... epic failures.

Well, what HAVEN'T we tried ?

How about JETTISONING the SPIRITUAL IDOLATRY of IRS 501-C3 tax-exempt status ???

How about THAT, Rev. Fraklin Graham and Tony Evans ?

How about THAT, Ms. Joyce Meyer and Gina Gleason ?

I don't ask that question disrepectfully, sirs and ladies.

Rather ... I CHALLENGE you with an idea whose SOURCE is the very Word of God that you claim to be willing to DIE FOR.

You claim to be willing to be CRUCUFIED with CHRIST in your daily lives ?

Does that also include OBEYING Jesus Christ's "command" (not a Sunday School class suggestion) ...

to ... "RENDER UNTO CAESAR".

"Render Unto Caesar". Period. Case Closed.

When will America's Christian Leaders STOP with the KUMBAYAH BALONEY CONFERENCES ...

and proposed a Plan to WIN THIS SPIRITUAL WAR in AMERICA ?

What's the Plan ?

"Render Unto Caesar".

All his colorful graphics are stolen from the EweToob 'videos' that were put up by some one named Douglas A. Coggeshall.

I haven't the foggiest idea who he is, but apparently a little over a year ago he reviewed a book on Amazon. And he's really 'popular' on EweToob. He has a grand total of ONE subscriber...

I am Douglas A. Coggeshall. No apologies.

I created the Youtube videos in the "Render Unto Caesar" series.

I posted this article at Free Republic.

So how can the graphics you see "be stolen" when I created them ?

I enjoyed reading your Free Republic profile page.

It's comforting that the "truth" expressed in your writing is independent of how many subscribers you have.

Perhaps you can take a closer read at the biblical truth contained in the message you're reading at this post (and take the time to watch one of the Youtube videos) before passing judgement on the message.

Certainly, friend, when Jesus Christ commanded "Render Unto Caesar", don't you think that He was serious, or just engaging in a Pentecostal "Holy Laughter" Joke ?

Are you listing people who were complicit? I’m not sure what all the names on your list mean. WHile I don’t know enough about what happened and WHY the church leaders of that day “accepted” this deal, it would be good to know what the bill actually stated and what the people THEN thought they were agreeing to. It is not enough to lay blame at the feet of people unless full proof is made. Did these people openly state their support and praise this bill, whatever it was? Were they duped? Has the bill changed from its original intent over the years since it was first signed? (Very likely) I have learned to be wary of accusations of misconduct. There are all kinds of people with axes to grind and they have usually half-baked theories that don’t always stand in the light of day.

Mr. Rogers,

A few gentle questions ...

1) Did your church provide you a "financial contributions statement" documenting your 2013 church tithes and offerings ?

If your answer is "yes", they were merely being "A Good Wife" to their U.S. Treasury Overlords, and your church's failure to OBEY its IRS 501-C3 "Federal Contract" could possibly result in Federal Prison Sentences.

Don't believe the "Federal Prison Sentences" remark ?

Then go ask Jim and Tammy Faye Baker.

2) Did you include your church tithes and offerings on your 2013 Federal Tax Return ?

If your answer is "yes", YOU are forcing Your Pastor to stay locked in the chains of "Pulpit Hush Money" enslavement.

Don't believe the "Puplit Hush Money" remark ?

Go have a private chat with your church's Pastor and ATTORNEY.

Just make sure that you bring your downloaded copy of "IRS Pamplet P1828" (Google Search P1828).

The rest of this reply is especially to answer your well-understood questions.

You'll learn the "rest of the story" by watching any of the Youtube videos.

GeronL,

You're absolutely correct !

Chuches DO NOT HAVE TO BE IRS 501-C3 tax-exempt.

However, when they say "I Do" with Uncle Sam, they automatically get "signed, sealed, delivered, and REGISTERED".

It's the same thing with the Tea Party and Pro-Life Groups.

They DON'T HAVE TO BE IRS tax-exempt organizations (IRS 501-C3 or C4 or whatever).

Accepting Uncle Sam's money means they VOLUNTARILY AGREE to all kinds of Government Control and Scrutiny.

GeronL, take the time to download "IRS Pamplet P1828" to learn the TRUTH about the regulatory control the U.S. Government has over tax-exempt churches.

It will scare the hell out of anyone.

“Don’t believe the “Puplit Hush Money” remark ?”

Nope. You see, I hear what my pastor preaches, and he does not, in any way, follow a government-approved line.

Also:

Bob Jones University vs US was in 83, not 73. It was a school, not a church. The court noted:

“Tax exemptions for certain institutions thought beneficial to the social order of the country as a whole, or to a particular community, are deeply rooted in our history, as in that of England. The origins of such exemptions lie in the special privileges that have long been extended to charitable trusts. [Footnote 12]

More than a century ago, this Court announced the caveat that is critical in this case:

“[I]t has now become an established principle of American law that courts of chancery will sustain and protect . . . a gift . . . to public charitable uses, provided the same is consistent with local laws and public policy. . . .”

Perin v. Carey, 24 How. 465, 65 U. S. 501 (1861) (emphasis added). Soon after that, in 1877, the Court commented:

“A charitable use, where neither law nor public policy forbids, may be applied to almost any thing that tends to promote the well-doing and well-being of social man.”

Ould v. Washington Hospital for Foundlings, 95 U. S. 303, 95 U. S. 311 (emphasis added).

Page 461 U. S. 589

See also e.g., Jackson v. Phillips, 96 Mass. 539, 556 (1867). In 1891, in a restatement of the English law of charity [Footnote 13] which has long been recognized as a leading authority in this country, Lord MacNaghten stated:

“’Charity,’ in its legal sense, comprises four principal divisions: trusts for the relief of poverty; trusts for the advancement of education; trusts for the advancement of religion; and trusts for other purposes beneficial to the community, not falling under any of the preceding heads.”

Commissioners v. Pemsel, [1891] A. C. 531, 583 (emphasis added). See, e.g., 4 A. Scott, Law of Trusts § 368, pp. 2853-2854 (3d ed.1967) (hereinafter Scott). These statements clearly reveal the legal background against which Congress enacted the first charitable exemption statute in 1894: [Footnote 14] charities were to be given preferential treatment because they provide a benefit to society.

What little floor debate occurred on the charitable exemption provision of the 1894 Act and similar sections of later statutes leaves no doubt that Congress deemed the specified organizations entitled to tax benefits because they served desirable public purposes. See, e.g., 26 Cong.Rec. 585-586...

...A corollary to the public benefit principle is the requirement, long recognized in the law of trusts, that the purpose of a charitable trust may not be illegal or violate established public policy. In 1861, this Court stated that a public charitable use must be “consistent with local laws and public policy,” Perin v. Carey, 24 How. at 65 U. S. 501. Modern commentators and courts have echoed that view. See, e.g., Restatement (Second) of Trusts § 377, Comment c (1959); 4 Scott § 377, and cases cited therein; Bogert § 378, at 191-192. [Footnote 17]

When the Government grants exemptions or allows deductions all taxpayers are affected; the very fact of the exemption or deduction for the donor means that other taxpayers can be said to be indirect and vicarious “donors.” Charitable exemptions are justified on the basis that the exempt entity confers a public benefit — a benefit which the society or the community may not itself choose or be able to provide, or which supplements and advances the work of public institutions already supported by tax revenues.”

http://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/461/574/case.html

Now, what happened next? It continued its policies, paid back taxes, and continued with the same policy until 2000.

In the church I attend, we do render to Caesar what is Caesar’s - but we don’t believe in rendering MORE than Caesar requires!

No one can order our church to perform homosexual marriages. They could at some point withdraw our tax exempt status, but that would also be a different case since we are, in fact, a church and not a university. Worst case, we would pay the money you want us to pay now. And we would, without hesitation, if that was the cost of following the Gospel. What we will not do is practice bleeding, and give more to the government than the government wants from us.

Shery,

"Thanks" for your questions.

I'll try to answer them all.

Q-1) Are you listing people who were complicit?

A-1) No. The italicized list is simply the speakers at the 2014 "Watchmen on the Wall" conference.

I respect many of these Christian leaders. I still harbor the hope that they're SERIOUS about America's Spiritual Revival, and not playing some "pollyanna game".

However, EVERY ONE of these Christian leaders should read this message; pray HARD; and then have the FAITH to JETTISON their IRS tax-exempt status.

IRS 501-C3/C4 is a SPIRITUAL CANCER for America's Christian Churches.

Period.

Church tax-exempt status is always EVIL; and must be removed completely.

Q-2) It would be good to know what the bill actually stated and what the people THEN thought they were agreeing to

A-2) Google "The History of the Johnson Amendment of 1954". It's all there. LBJ wanted to silence his political opponents, INCLUDING Christian churches.

Q-3) Has the bill changed from its original intent over the years since it was first signed?

A-3) Not a bit. Evidence ? What the next time you hear a Pastor "tip-toe-around" some political candidate who's either a homosexual (gay) sodomizer, or who loves murdering unborn babies.

"Dollars to doughnuts" you'll NEVER hear that Pastor PUBLICALLY from behind his IRS 501-C3 pulpit ... condemn such scum-bag politicians.

He's simply OBEYING his IRS Overlord.

Read all about it in IRS Pamplet 1828 (a free IRS download).

Q-4) There are all kinds of people with axes to grind and they have usually half-baked theories that don’t always stand in the light of day.

A-4) No axes to grind here, nor half-baked theories.

I am Douglas A. Coggeshall.

Well then. Since he is you, or you are he, I retract my statement about you stealing his graphics from EweToob.

Since that connection could not be known until you revealed it, my original statement, including comments on the popularity of the EweToob channel in question, fit the facts as known at the time.

On the subject of the government extending 'tax-exempt' status.. That in and of itself does not constitute an alarming situation. Paul (you may have heard of him, he wrote a couple of books that are in the New Testament Canon, including one that was a letter to the Romans) informs us that governments are ordained by God and are to be obeyed. If the government extends to you a 'status' (for want of a better word) there is nothing wrong with that per se. What could happen, and where the real danger lies with the Church accepting 'tax-exempt' status is if and when the government uses that 'status' it has granted to control the message. At that point we will see who is rendering what to whom.

No,it hasn't happened yet. But the way things are looking it is a very real scenario, especially with THIS _resident and his flying monkeys. Right now he is more distracted with putting the thumbscrews to the tea party types. That could change overnight.

You list a lot of names/ministries and imply that they are somehow diluting the message by the very act of accepting 'tax-exempt' status. Can you point to any examples (especially by any you have 'called out' for exposure) of altering the Truth to avoid incurring the ire of the oBomination?

THAT would be the real flag that you can wave. Not their 501c-3 status. I do assume that you take advantage of the tax deduction offered you for any contributions to any Church or similar organization that you might give your tithes and offerings to? (Of course assuming that you DO give.) And if so, how does that fit into your 'render unto..' theology? (Remember - that guy Paul used to his advantage the fact of his Roman citizenship more than once as recorded for us in the book of The Acts.)

I trust, considering your posts here, that you are familiar with the scripture passages I have alluded to above. If not, I recommend you pause transferring your current PowerPoint presentation to EweToob and instead refresh your familiarity with the Epistle to the Romans and Luke's excellent history known as The Acts of the Apostles..)

Sounds like you have a fantastic pastor !

I'm not sure that answered all my questions.

What about that (possible) church title and offering write-off on your Federal Tax Return.

Did you participate ?

Have you downloaded IRS Pamplet P1828 (free), studied it, e-mailed to it your pastor and chucrh attorney ?

Here's my e-mail address: Render-Unto-Caesar@Engineering-Excellence.US

Let me know how that conversation goes.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch ...

Does your pastor ever mention political candidates for public office by NAME ?

Does your pastor ENDORSE "Christian" political candidates for public office by NAME ?

Does your pastor ever mention (pending) Legislation by NAME and NUMBER ?

Does your pastor ever ENDORSE (pending) Legislation by NAME and NUMBER ?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes", please have your pastor read-up on his "contractual obligations" to the IRS (Pamplet 1828).

Otherwise, your church may be serious financial fines and penalties.

Of course, the alternative is simply request the IRS to do a "complete financial audit" of your church.

If you church "really isn't" tax-exempt (controlled) under IRS 501-C3, then their answer will be ...

"we have no legal jurisdiction in this matter".

Are you REALLY willing to make that phone call (inviting the IRS to audit your church) ?

Time will tell ...

No Compromise,

You wrote ...

You're correct about "obeying the government" reference in the Pauline Epistles; those references parallel what Jesus Christ said in "Render Unto Caesar".

Sure, Christians are commanded to obey the Government, but only as long as it doesn't violate The LORD's commands.

Daniel Chapter 3 tells how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego REFUSED to obey the King's order to bow-down and worship him.

They obeyed "Thou Shalt have No other Gods but Me".

So what's the "evil aspect" about IRS 501-C3 tax-exempt status ?

It's VERY SIMPLE.

"Who" is the Ultimate Source/Power in Your Life ?

The IRS will ATTACK-PUNISH your church if they see your tax-exempt church is endorsing Pro-Life, Anti-Gay-Sodomite, or Anti-Obamacare candidates by NAME.

The IRS will ATTACK-PUNISH your church if they see your tax-exempt church is endorsing Pro-Life, Anti-Gay-Sodomite, or Anti-Obamacare Legistation by NAME and NUMBER.

"Any" Christian Pastor who submits to this "tax-exempt blackmail" has TRADED his EXCLUSIVE obedience to The LORD for obedience to the IRS.

Pure and simple.

Your Pastor CANNOT say that he's obeyed "Thou Shalt have No other Gods but Me".

No Compromise, if I offered you $ 10,000 to NOT pass-out Gospel tracts, would you accept the agreement ?

No Compromise, if I offered your Pastor $ 10,000 to critize "President Barrack Hussein Obama" (by name) for his parade of illegal and ungodly activities ...
well, your Pastor has ALREADY acepted that agreement, vis-a-vis IRS 501-C3.

Your Pastor CANNOT say that he's obeyed "Thou Shalt have No other Gods but Me".

This is a HARD fact to deal with; it took me five years to deal with.

The ONLY solution is for you to pray for your pastor, e-mail him IRS P1828, and encourage your church to JETTISON IRS 501-C3.

“Does your pastor ever mention political candidates for public office by NAME ?”

No. He discusses social issues from a biblical perspective, but the members of our church don’t like having the pastor recommend votes from the pulpit.

“Does your pastor ever ENDORSE (pending) Legislation by NAME and NUMBER ?”

No. He once endorsed a law after it was passed, and the congregation jumped in his chili. I don’t think any of us view him as endowed with special insight into legislative matters. Legislative matters often involve economics, constitutional issues and/or a knowledge of history in an area such as water rights that he has no background in. If you asked him about Arizona’s knife laws, for example, he would be clueless - and he cheerfully admits it.

He did oppose a recent Southern Baptist Convention motion on illegal immigration, and in fact was the one who stood up and objected to the wording. In the end, it passed in a revised version by a few votes, but he pointed out to the congregation that A) no member church and no church member is required to follow it, and B) the vote involved well just a tiny fraction of attendees - most were off doing other things and never saw the proposal.

His main objection was that the SBC was discussing it, when the issue did not involve clear-cut biblical direction. It depends on how one weights compassion and wanting to help others vs obeying the law and HOW one shows compassion. Sincere Christians can differ on the right answer, and it isn’t the ‘business’ of the SBC to tell others more than what the Bible tells us to tell others.

Abortion, homosexuality, adultery, the fallen nature of man, man’s natural desire to rebel against God - these are biblical truths that will affect how we vote. Our desire to follow God, what God has said about right & wrong - these are what the pastor should focus on, and let individual members vote as they are led, and to whatever degree they are willing to be led, by the Holy Spirit.

“”Does your pastor ever ENDORSE (pending) Legislation by NAME and NUMBER ?”

Does the Bible? Nope.

“What about that (possible) church title and offering write-off on your Federal Tax Return.”

I always end up taking the standard deduction. If I didn’t, then all the IRS gets is my annual list of contributions. There have been a few times in my life that I took itemized deductions, and no one ever questioned me on it.

“Are you REALLY willing to make that phone call (inviting the IRS to audit your church) ?”

No more so and no less so than I am willing to call the IRS and ask them to audit MY returns...
