15 For this is what the high and exalted One says—

    he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
    but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
    and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16 I will not accuse them forever,
    nor will I always be angry,
for then they would faint away because of me—
    the very people I have created.
17 I was enraged by their sinful greed;

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

My Mom and Dad were on a Transatlantic Voyage on the QE2 many years ago, and encountered a vicious North Atlantic storm. Everyone, including the crew, was seasick (except my Dad, but he was raised in the bow of a wooden fishing schooner!). The frightening power of the ocean when it is "troubled" is one of the truly awesome aspects of creation.

In This Passage, The Wicked are compared to turbulent waters. It is easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer horror of it all. But there is no peace for the wicked. They are constantly in turmoil, but in the One True God we DO have Peace.

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
