I "AM" your Paradise search no further for truly if the Israelites realized this in the desert I would have been their Canaan as wholeheartedly as they would have received me even then and so it is for you even now for I AM The Wind of Fire and Breath of Tongues for you even unto forever and not just on a day (Pentecost) for I AM ~abiding~ in your WellSpring , so simply let Me "Rise Up" for your Testimony of ME "IS" the spark that starts the FIRE and I AM your Burning Bush and VOICE !
14 So when the people set out from their tents to pass over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
15 And when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were in the brink of the waterfor the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest
16 Then the waters which came down from above stood and rose up in a heap far off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt [Dead] Sea, were wholly cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho.
17 And while all Israel passed over on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan.
My Paradise is yours my children , Come rest in My meadows of Joy and allow Me to restore ALL as I FILL you with The Riches of My Kingdom in Perfect Peace and Harmony . . .
allow My Peace to "BE" with you
Romans 12:16-21 16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.
17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone.
18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [Gods] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord.
20 But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.
21 Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.

No, Jed. You are not my paradise. And you don't dictate who searches where.
if the Israelites realized this in the desert I would have been their Canaan
I know. Their bad. If they had just read your blog, all would be well.
I AM The Wind of Fire and Breath of Tongues for you even unto forever
Yes, Taco Bell is pretty good sometimes.
I AM ~abiding~ in your WellSpring
You had better not.
let Me "Rise Up" for your Testimony of ME "IS" the spark that starts the FIRE
Well, I might let you fill the Diesel can if you calm down..
I AM your Burning Bush and VOICE
Do you own weapons?
I would have been their Canada
This is a description of the offer the Lord makes to all who come in faith. Jed’s putting it poetically. It’s the Lord that makes heaven heaven.
Are you humble enough, HG, to know when you’ve encountered a place in life where you need to count on something different than your gun?
Well, folks will mock. But the trouble this land is seeing needs a better answer than man can generate. It’s in a spiritual quicksand. The Lord is reaching out, even though Jed.
If you want something more conventionally evangelistic and less metaphorical, see John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [one-of-a-kind] Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Sure looks to me like he's either speaking for God or actually thinking he's God.
Your mileage may vary, but I reckon he's a nut.
There are nuts in the world for all manner of things.
There are nuts for baseball.
There are nuts for barbecued ribs.
And then there are nuts for God.
Look, Jed hasn’t spewed any pea soup or anything like this. He’s talking about good stuff. If the bible says he’s wrong then show it. But the bible also says “Do not treat prophecies with contempt.” You oughtta check them out.
And yes, a valid prophetic mode is first person dialogue from the divine. Now not everything that comes in first person is God... but not everything that comes in first person ISN’T, either. We check it out. If the bible says it’s wrong it’s wrong. If it’s a case of using a valid metaphor then it might well be right, and it’s at least a new way of looking at things.
And so, what is a paradise? Some kind of sheltered, protected area of great beauty is what I might think about. Any other ideas?
The webcam feed is pay-per-view.
Hes talking about good stuff.
Satan was appealing to some as well, wasn't he.
If the bible says hes wrong then show it.
My Bible does not mention posts by Jed.
But the bible also says Do not treat prophecies with contempt.
You oughtta check them out.
You ought to check out some of Jed's prophecies.. and then see what the Bible says about FALSE ones.
A surfeit of cynicism does not wisdom make either.
Look if this stuff doesn’t appeal to you, why are you ragging all over it. Why aren’t you letting it be if you can’t add to it.
Satan may have you too if you are such a gun nut that you cannot be even more of a God nut.
Whatever it may be, I can only hope...
I "AM" your Paradise search no further
Hope that it isn't Jed and his self-proclaimed Paradisism.
But I HAVE.
See post #2, it's funny as hell.
You can’t assume a priori it’s wrong. We have a person stating a putative prophecy. This happened in the church before. Just because the bible doesn’t list a person doesn’t mean it’s ipso facto wrong.
This, frankly, looks a lot like a prophecy in the vein of “forthtelling.” Nothing’s here that we could not have already asserted in the bible’s own poetic terms based on true assertions in the bible. But instead of being inspired — ah, here’s a fresh view — you just go ragging about what a “nut” Jed is. Some people lack a Life and need to get it and it looks like that might not be Jed but you!
Yes it is as “funny as hell” — the devil is quite the clown, really, trying to tear down anything valid that is stated to the good about God, because it doesn’t fit some sort of literalistic straitjacket.
Well, folks will mock.
He ought not pretend to be the voice of God.
So if I started speaking for God and making "prophecies" then I would be somehow more credible?
Indeed pretending is wrong, but how can you prove it to be pretense?
You’ll knock down God anywhere He appears like whack-a-mole if you get gratuitously literalistic. “Quarrels about words” is one thing the New Testament condemns! If the words mean the same thing as something God did state, then we have a valid restatement.
Well, we got to look at what this entity is claiming. If it agrees with scriptural statements, then if it’s the devil we know too little yet to identify it.
But really some people are impossible to please. You give them exact bible quotes and they call you nuts. You paraphrase to minimize the hackneyed factor and they call you nuts. Maybe their problem is that they don’t want to hear ANYTHING from God except some excuse to say it’s wrong to speak.
Personally, anyone who writes stuff using "I" when pretending to speak for God.. is a nut. Or worse.
Well that is your personal opinion, but again that is a valid prophetic mode.
Any Christian who is not interested in playing mere relfexive spiritual whack-a-mole will check out (1) if the message is true; (2) what the tendency of believing it in the circumstances where it is proffered would be.
But that would take some, well, actual THINKING.
I find it kind of odd that although there are four gospels filled with words Jesus spoke none of them are even mentioned, not on the thread or the comments, not meaning to complain but just thought it should be noted.
Well as far as paradise is concerned, Jesus said the repentant thief who died alongside him would be with him that day in paradise.
Now at that point bible scholar arguments get thick and ponderous. Some go for the partitioned-Sheol theory based on shadowings of the Old Testament. Some could posit that since the finished death of Christ atoned, this was a heavenly region, where the repentant are accepted by God.
But we can say the presence of the Lord is a heavenly region; and if you stunt your thought by saying that only what Jesus was directly quoted to assert in the gospels is true, then you’d find yourself hard put to say He was even God. That’s because He did not want his mouth to say He was God; that’s because he wanted his works to do that. “Believe the miracles.”
So if a rephrase does not edify you, buzz off and go somewhere that you do get edified. Don’t insist on tearing it down for everybody else.
I'm not giving too much thought to some blogger who "speaks for God".
You go ahead, though.
You have engaged in the classic fallacy of begging the question.
You can call it any damned thing you like.
Fact is, I do not hear the Word of God from a blogger named Jed.
He writes his own words as if they were from God and that right there ends it.
So if a rephrase does not edify you, buzz off and go somewhere that you do get edified. Dont insist on tearing it down for everybody else.
Hi-Tech . . . I'm taking away your "redneck" card. If you want it back you'll have to lose the animus against "literalism."
That’s a reference elsewhere. If He ultimately authored the Holy Books (through authorship and superintending the process), then it seems like a silly quibble to try to say that no, the Lord affirms THIS scripture but not THAT (when we aren’t talking about a genuine question of literal manuscript history).
You come from a whole ‘nother corner. You are Christ basher, let alone intra-Christian issues. Buzz off.
You won’t even check it out in the bible? You won’t even check out in the bible where it says “Do not treat prophecies with contempt”?
If you won’t, what really IS there to say. You are ASS-U-ME’ing some kind of private fabrication here.
Unlike your assumption that Jed is a real Prophet, despite the lack of any proof.
Have fun in Hell, at least the bands are better.
Now really there you go slinging cheap shots at heaven and sending me to hell.
How Christian is that?
), then it seems like a silly quibble to try to say that no,
