The world is reeling with the horrifying spectacle of the recent stunning success of the Sunni Islam, ISIS, (Islamic Society of Syria and Iraq),which in the past two weeks has taken over most of Iraq, and is currently encircling Baghdad. The group has become the richest terror organization in the world after plundering banks in Mosul(Biblical Ninevah), and as a prize has taken Fallujah and Tikrit, places the United States,Britain and their coalition spent billions in treasure and thousands of our finest young lives to

What the Kurds endured over the centuries is remarkble....I think after Saddam used chemical weapons, taking well over 12, ooo just in two of thier communities.....they would not show mercy toward any in Iraq (Sunni or Shite) if either should rise against them....what was done to their people by Saddam was beyond cruel. I’m not so sure they see Shites or Sunni’s differently in respect to their own freedom and desire to maintain their culture. They don’t appear to side with either rather which ever will bring peace to the nation overall..and that’s more to do with the leadership of Iraq.

In some ways the Kurdish culture sort of reminds me of how Israel has fought to retain their culture and people over the years....Kurds have been repressed by nations and suffered much to sustain their culture.

There is some speculation that the a-c comes from the House of Wales. Princes Charles, William, George or even Harry could be the one.

I prefer a print book to a real book, but I just purchased your book because this is probably the most important book I’m going to read this year.

Making breakfast, and will spend the day reading it on my iPad.

Thank you Sir, for the courage to write it.

What I’m thinking is the mess in the Middle East. What I’d watch for is someone coming up saying the have the answer to all the war and strife and if only they would give him power to handle it ...

I'm watching for an actual "peace" deal that affects Israel. If that couples with a sudden and "unexpected" financial boon that affects the world, it will be time to tie up any loose ends...

“From Genesis, we learn that much of the Arab nation came from the first-born son of Abraham, Ishmael. He was not the child of the promise, nor was he born of Sarah Abraham’s wife. Ishmael was the son of Abraham through his bondslave, the Egyptian woman,Hagar.”

In other words, not legitamite, forgive me of any misspellings, not legit born?

I would use another word, but I want to keep it “clean” this posting and thread.

Although I believed the Revived Roman Empire theory, along with everyone else, for a long, long time, I'm no longer sold. The primary objection to this theory is that the Bible clearly identifies AntiChrist as coming from "the people" who destroyed Jerusalem (in A.D. 70). While there's no doubt that Titus was in charge of Rome at the time, nor any doubt that he was the authority behind the sacking, there's considerable historical evidence that "the people" who carried out the attack were predominantly Arab conscripts, not Italians or Romans in any sense other than taking orders from Rome. Or heck, given the already-entrenched hatred of Arabs for the Jews, they probably only needed permission.

Who cannot look around today and see that the major spiritual battle on Earth is between the forces of God and the forces of Islam? It's so glaringly obvious. Plus, the similarities between the prophesied Islamic "messiah" and the prophesied AntiChrist are uncanny. It's really exactly as it has always been: God vs. an evil attempted counterfeit cum usurper of God.

As to why so many were wrong for so long, I think that's simple: God told Daniel to seal up the book until the end times. I think only now is God revealing the obvious truth about the nature of what lies ahead. But there are so many prophecy "experts" out there who have literally built their lives and careers around the Roman theory, and change would require them to invalidate what they've said on the matter their entire lives. That kind of change is tough.

I think most serious prophecy followers today--you and I come instantly to mind among these--agree that we're nearing the end. Given what we've seen unfolding over the past decades, picture this scenario:

The rapture occurs, leaving behind all Muslims, a ton of nominal Protestants, and countless Catholics. The world is now made up almost entirely of pie-eyed naivete, desperate for answers. There's not any real Christian leadership left, and a charming and peace-loving Muslim pops up out of nowhere with a solution to finally put the Middle East at peace, to end the strife so the world can sing Kumbaya. Given the heretical ecumenism already underway with Francis, a big speech about "all God's children coming together in the wake of this tragedy" is no stretch at all. In fact, it's perfect. Expected.

Finally, an intriguing possibility: Given what's happening in Europe today, is it any stretch to imagine this wonderful Muslim leader having a strong European connection as well? That would be the ultimate example of two birds with one stone, eh? MM

ISIS, Are We Witnessing One of the Women of Revelations? (Vanity) http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3168721/posts

The Beast in the War Machine

Sirius was also known as the Star queen Isis, the mother goddess and her marriage to the sun.

Throughout history the summer solstice and the throne of Isis which basks in the sun of the summer solstice have been very powerful symbols and it is no accident that we have seen these symbolic images before.

We have covered extensively the symbolism of ISIS and the newly organized “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” and how it is a powerful acronym recognized in the west. We have also covered the appearance of an Isis doppelganger in the Disney Film Maleficent.

We have also spoken of the thousands of years that have transpired since the first caliphate took power after the death of Mohammad and how his name is similar to the leader of the newly formed Isis.

According to it is written that Abu Backr was the first Caliphate or successor to Mohammed.

Backr’s biography states: After Mohammed died (632), an assembly of Muslims in Mecca elected Abu Bakr as the first ‘khalifat rasul Allah’ (successor of the Prophet of God), or caliph. Under him the collection of Mohammed’s revelations was recorded in the Koran. Abu Bakr suppressed tribal uprisings and brought central Arabia under Muslim control, after which he directed Arab armies into Iraq and Syria initiating thus the Muslim conquests.

ISIS coincidentally is being lead by an elusive leader named Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, a man who shares the name with the first caliphate after Mohammad

All of this is intriguing, as we are instructed to watch for the signs. Isis in a scarlet sheath dress bedecked in gold, pearls, and royal purples of Egypt...same depicted in Babylon as Ishtar goddess of prostitutes.

The Great Harlot is not the church...before modern man or Christ...the Great Harlot was Isis/Ishtar.

The Mideast obviously has a role to play here in the end times. However I think we’ve always envisioned them as it’s been for the last 50 or so years, as a collection of Israel hating name states, much like the coalition that attacked them during the Yom Kippur War.

The whole Arab Spring destabilization followed by the rise of the various Wahabi influenced Islamic groups is changing the view. One can feel the force that they are expanding with to know that there is something more going on that meets the eye. Now it’s starting to look like the Caliphate thing again, with the Iran/Shia stick jabbed in their to make it more interesting.

Whatever is taking shape there, what we know is the whole paradigm of the old order crumbling-instability-chaos-power vacuum-new order arising, such as what happened in Nazi Germany or Czarist Russia, is happening there. Whether they are the RRE remains to be seen, but it is also not out of the question, as this area was mostly in the old RE.

Change is afoot and the chess pieces of the end times are moving, I’m sure we’ll see in our lifetimes what is arising.

caww, you bring up some interesting points, however what about the Kurd’s role in the Armenian Genocide? While I agree that it is good that they are out from Sunni/Shia control, I do not see these people as a shining example of integrity. What are your thoughts?

Yup, the beheading element is a biggie.

I don’t think Jews and nominal Christians will be expected to acknowledge the AntiChrist as any kind of messiah early on. I think the situation will be sold by the False Prophet as more of an interfaith, ecumenical thing. Of course, we know AC will eventually demand to be worshipped, but I don’t think there’s anything that mandates it early in the Tribulation when the masses are being sucked into the deception.
