Want A Coke?

Sometimes I think Satan must love the way we use animals to sell products and ideas. We see Clydesdale horses used to sell beer, Camels to sell cigarettes, Ducks and Mice to sell children entertainment and to lure the family to theme parks, Owls and Black Bears to sell conservation ideas, and Polar Bears to sell everything from sodas to Global Warming. Yup, those who worship the planet have learned from the corporate world that animals are great props for selling ideas also.

Makes sense when you think about it. Satan was a serpent, and the most beautiful and cunning of all the beasts of the field which the LORD God had made.(Genesis 3:1) He used his charm to deceive Eve into transgressing by convincing her that she could be like God. (Genesis 3:5) Today there are many who follow Satan's lead by deceiving others into believing all sorts of false truths by the use of beautiful animals and cunning lies in their campaigns.

One of the biggest lies being told today are the one's by Al Gore and his animal and planet worshiping friends who have used the Polar Bear to sell Global Warming. Who can forget the iconic image of the Polar Bear floating on a small piece of ice in the Ocean? Never mind that the Polar Bears scientific name is "ursus maritimus", which means "swimming bear". Technically speaking the Polar Bear is actually a marine mammal, but because the of the ice at the polar caps are actually increasing instead of decreasing, they're spending more time ranging for food on land than they do in the water. Most humans don't even know that these vicious marine mammals can actually swim upwards of a 100 miles in search of food.

You will never hear the truth about the Polar Bears from those selling their earth worshiping religion, just like Eve would never hear the truth from Satan. Thanks to the lies of Satan's minions like Al Gore, billions of people are more worried about the polar caps melting, due the world overheating from fossil fuels being used to generate electricity and run ours cars, than they are about the sins they commit.

There will be a time when the earth will burn and all things will be destroyed, but it won't be because humans want to build cities, drive cars, cook food, or keep warm in the winter. It will be because our sins have equaled the stench God smelled when he decided to destroy it the first time with water. Yet the world tells us to live for today, save the planet and sin to our hearts delight. As Christians, we know it's better to hate the world and look to Christ for salvation while attempting to not sin. Sadly, there are many Christian who themselves believe that God is going to use Global Warming to do what Peter warned us of in his second epistle.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2Peter 3:10-13

Christians who buy into Satan's lies are most likely the same ones who believe that God has no problem with Bill and Steve getting married in their church. If they don't begin to see the light soon, they will be joining the billions of humans who will be fuel for the final fire. Christians need to begin reading the word and stop listening to the false prophets of the world. Regardless of whether it's Al Gore, Obama, Prince Charles, or the dozens of false Christian Pastors teaching that man is responsible for changing the weather. Christians need to look to God for the answers and stop paying attention to the scare tactics that pull the heart strings with cute animals.

Who can deny that the wild animals of the world are cute, but they are dangerous and would not hesitate to kill a human should we get in their way. Christians need to educate their children about the reality of the wild animals like the Lions, and Tigers and yes the cute cuddly looking Polar Bears. They need to be told the truth about Satan's minions, like the Al Gores of the world who claim the planet is more important than humans and our desire to live a pure and sinless life.

Real Christians do care about the animals and the planet, it's just that we don't worship the creation, we worship the Creator. Besides it's not us who are polluting the waters, destroying the jungles and callously killing the animals, its the earth worshipers. Just look at the billions of birds killed around the globe every year by the Wind mills that are supposed to be the answer to reversing man's damage to the planet. Satan is wrong, we are not God, and we can no more destroy the planet with our love for cars and technology, than we can if we detonated every nuclear weapon on the planet at the same time. That power is reserved for the One who created the planet, and when it's time, He will do as he promised, regardless of what Satan wants you to believe.

Interesting, and thx fer the ping.  Help me out if you're seeing something else, but what I'm reading in the passage--

"...the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells... "

--is that it's the old heaven and earth that get melted while "righteousness dwells" in the "new heavens and a new earth" . That should mean that if we're thinking we got too much heat then our first move has to be simply a move from the old to the new.

Sorry, but I am a bit confused about your question? Are you asking which heavens and earth gets melted away?

Someone complaining because I didn't give a link to the article?

Usually people are accusing others of being blog pimps.

just so you know, I wrote the article. So it's my prerogative to post the whole article or not.

I'm like you, I prefer Pepsi. Coke is way too sweet for me.

However, the PB is the coke's mascot, thus the use of coke instead of Pepsi.

I know you knew that chode, but for others who may wonder why I would use coke if i like Pepsi. Like they should wonder though. Right?
