Pro-Abortion Group: ‘Male Justices’‘Direct Attack on Women’ in Hobby Lobby Case

Condemnation came fast and furious following the Supreme Court ruling on Monday that said the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive and sterilization mandate is unlawful because it infringes on the religious liberty of the business owners who object to providing abortion-inducing drugs to employees.

"Today's decision from five male justices is a direct attack on women and our fundamental rights,” Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, said in a statement issued after the 5/4 decision on Monday. “This ruling goes out of its way to declare that discrimination against women isn't discrimination.”

"Allowing bosses this much control over the health-care decisions of their employees is a slippery slope with no end,” Hogue said. “Every American could potentially be affected by this far-reaching and shocking decision that allows bosses to reach beyond the boardroom and into their employees' bedrooms.”

It sounds as though the baby killers are a little upset. LOL! They’ll get over it.

“Moments ago, the Supreme Court issued a ruling that will take birth control out of the hands of women who need it,” said the email, which was signed by PPFA President Cecile Richards. “Their decision gives employers the power to deny women the new birth control benefits of the Affordable Care Act — allowing bosses to force their personal beliefs on employees.”

Wrong, Ms. Richards. You will not be denied birth control. The ruling only means that we don't have to pay for it.

I hope you have your supply of birth control pills. If you don’t take one a day you are a goner.

Have you seen some of these “gals”? Most aren’t going to be in need of birth control of any type. They have a natural built in case.

Plan B might work. Get the name of each guy you “hang out” with and charge them for your contraceptives.

Why is it that when rulings like this come down that essentially tell Women , NO you cannot force someone else to pay for your sex life, you can pay for it yourself, they lose their minds??

So many news stories have this story wrong. Hobby Lobby already provides some birth control for their employees.

What they were objecting to was the mandate that Obamacare issued that was against their family faith since they are a “closely held” family company.

This doesn’t apply to big corporations. I really think a Catholic source would get the story straight.

Speaking of abortion, the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect the so-called right to an abortion. Such a "right" was wrongly legislated from the bench by activist justices imo.

And the reason that justices got away with their decision is because parents are not making sure that their children are being taught the difference between legislative and judicial powers.

All this ruling does is stop companies from having to fund abortifacients. Hobby Lobby’s current insurance covers 16 types of birth control. They objected only to abortifacients.
