O consider and see that the LORD is good; happy is the man that taketh refuge in Him. Psalm 34:9

OH GOD, THY GOODNESS is our strength and support. OH GOD, when we meditate aright, upon THEE and THY WORD, happy is our hearts, restful is our souls, peaceful is our minds, and steady is our strength. Amen.

Dear LORD, I pray for those most especially today amidst the battlefields. OH GOD, keep them from all discouraging thoughts and fears that would thwart any idea of goodness. Please, bring prayer to their lips, and humble trust to their hearts, so that in the center of all things they face…what is seen is yet the GOODNESS and MERCY of the LORD following them all the days of their lives. Help them Dear LORD, through the GREAT POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT, to mediate and consider all that they know of YOU in their times of need. Help them in the GREAT POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, to fix their eyes on JESUS, seeing HIS VICTORY AND STRENGTH, evidenced in THY LOVE AND GOODNESS and THY PROMISES in HOPE. Give their hearts PRAISE for taking refuge in YOU. Amen.

OH LORD, as we pray for our country, so many of our thoughts are focused upon the corruption we see, upon the frustrations we feel, upon the powerlessness we fear. OH GOD, remind us of THY GREAT SOVEREIGNTY. Help us not to consider and see the folly and foolery of those whose trust is in man and money. GOD, HAPPY IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD is the LORD, HAPPY IS THE MAN WHOSE REFUGE IS THEE. HAPPY IS THE ONE WHOSE PRAISE RESIDES IN THEE. OH GOD, keep us considering and seeing THY GOODNESS as we pray for our nation, asking each day for MERCY AND GRACE, and not cowering down to that which brings any defeatest thoughts. Thank YOU LORD GOD.

We lift up these prayer IN THE NAME OF JESUS, who lives and reigns with YOU and the HOLY SPIRIT, ONE GOD FOREVER AND EVER…AMEN.

Please join me in prayer today as we pray most especially for those of active duty. The number of those being send to Iraq increased in hours yesterday, and our beloved alley, Israel, is in the midst of battle as we pray. We look to the LORD for safety for our fighters, We look to the LORD for justice for the innocent, We look to the LORD for righteousness to begin with us in prayer, asking for it to flow in response upon our nations…WE ASK LORD, All things, only because YOU have told us we can. We owe all to YOU. TO GOD BE THE GLORY, the GOOD, THE PRAISE…AMEN. Thank you for your diligence in covering our beloved heroes every day. Love, Jean.
