Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” 4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.


We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Just as The Tree of Life and the River of Living Water appear in the Beginning of the Torah and then again near the end of the Book of Revelation, so too is the First Animal in Genesis. This Serpent is a little different from a plain old snake, and Revelation identifies it in Chapter 12, Verse 9:

9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.(NIV)

The Serpent is also called "The Dragon" and "Satan".

In Genesis, The King James uses the word "Subtle" instead of "crafty". It is much more difficult to resist a temptation when it is "subtle". Captain Obvious would have a very hard time tempting most of us! It's the "subtle" ones who are more likely to make us stumble.
