Actually, in Arthur's case I do think so - and in a similar way that any serviceman also deserves "more respect" than us flunkies out in the civilian world.

Well, I don’t recall ever having interacted with him
but since I don’t know him from Adam I’m not likely
to afford him any special privileges based on his job title.
