Vatican Alleged to Have Intercepted Synod Book
Newsmax ^ | 2/25/15 | Edward Pentin

A Vatican department allegedly intercepted over a hundred copies of a new book written by five cardinals to prevent it being read by the majority of participants of a synod last October called by Pope Francis.

“Remaining in the Truth of Christ,” a commercially successful book reaffirming Catholic teaching on marriage and the family, was mailed to all the synod fathers in the Paul VI Hall, where the meeting was taking place.

Reliable and high level sources allege the head of secretariat of the synod of bishops, Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, ordered they be intercepted because they would “interfere with the synod.”

A source told me that Baldisseri was “furious” the book had been mailed to the participants and ordered staff at the Vatican post office to ensure they did not reach the Paul VI Hall.

Almost daily, the “merciful” wing of the Church reveals itself to be full of Stalinists. The dismantling of the FFI, and the hounding and persecution of its scattered former members. The humiliation of Burke. The persecution of members of the Swiss Guard. This latest incident of BOOK BURNING.

The Hard Left elected one of their own, guaranteed to wink as they run riot and run roughshod over their enemies.

Cardinal Baldisseri is behind the times. Today, if a book has become ‘commercially successful’, there is a high liklihood that the book, or key portions of it have been uploaded online. If not from the actions of the printer, then because one book buyer wished to share info with someone else.

Edward Pentin....again!

He's really got his teeth into the fiasco that was last October's Extraordinary Synod. I'm not a huge fan of Newsmax but I think Pentin is solid and would have done his homework on this.

Don't forget the threat of litigation currently being made to the Canadian blogger by a prominent member of the Vatican Press Office.

Cardinal Baldiserri, personally elevated to cardinal by Pope Francis and appointed secretary of the Synod by Pope Francis, ordered the book opposing Cardinal Kasper’s proposals to be STOLEN from the Vatican post office boxes of all the Synod participants! What kind of banana republic has Vatican City become under Pope Francis?!?

Like he’s their boss or something?

Big church, petty mortal ways. One doesn’t need to be Catholic to be galled about this. The book authors at least tried to make it about the Lord.

Absolutely. There have always been people in the Catholic Church who hate the truth and hate the Church.

The Catholic Church DOES NOT CLAIM that this cannot happen.

The Catholic Church claims ONLY this, with respect to “infallibility”: that the Pope cannot formally and solemnly propose a falsehood for belief by the entire Church.

So, however scandalous the behavior of these evil characters in the Vatican may be, it has absolutely no bearing on the Church’s teaching, including the Church’s teaching concerning “infallibility.”

The book was available on KINDLE long before it was in print. One can hope many of the Cardinals got a KINDLE copy.

Exactly. It has become a Third World country and a Failed State.

The HARD LEFT elected one of their own. They knew, and they were RIGHT, that he would wink at their crimes.

yes. So why hasn’t someone scanned the book or found an ebook and put it for download on the Pirate Bay?

Of course, the good bishops probably wouldn’t download stuff illegally, but I’m sure some parishoners could get their kids to get it for them...

Meet The Papal Thieves

Fr. Z has it in English, and Kath.net has the original in German.

In the wake of the October Synod, around 200 copies of the well-known “Remaining in the Truth of Christ” are sent to as many bishop using the Italian postal service. Only two or three reach their addressees, all the others simply disappear.

Whatever you want to say of the Italian postal service: no, it isn’t as bad as that, at all.

Now a journalist, Manfred Ferrari, has information, and makes names: the books have obviously arrived to the Vatican post office, and have been stolen from there to prevent them from being handed to the Bishops.

The journalist makes the name of the person allegedly behind it: Cardinal Baldisseri.

This, my dear reader, is theft, and who has organised this is a thief. Let us see what Cardinal Baldisseri has to say about this, if he deigns to say a word after such a grave episode, and such grave accusations of what must be, even in Argentina (but perhaps not in Bergoglioland?), a very grave offence.

What kind of people these apostles of mercy are! Bullying hypocrites like Father Rosica; vulgar thugs like his Basilian confrere, Father Scott; and now apparently even thieves, not ashamed of stealing en masse from their own bishops!

But then again what do you expect when the Merciful In Chief is a man who brags of stealing a crucifix from the hands of a dead man, and considers such feat absolutely brilliant and worthy of a wink-wink of admiration.

What a walking canalisation these people are. And the brashness, the sheer arrogance of how they go on about their business, safe in the knowledge of the protection of their own disgraceful superiors, is what angers the most.

Whoever did this did not do it to help the line of the five Cardinals (read: Catholicism). Whoever did this must have been high enough to be able to order something like that and enforce obedience. Whoever did this either did it with Francis’ explicit approval, or he did it in the knowledge that upon knowing the facts Francis would have smiled on his “entrepreneurial spirit”.

A bunch of bullies, boors, and thieves. Starting from the very top. This is the Vatican as we write the year of the Lord 2015.

“I’m not a huge fan of Newsmax but I think Pentin is solid and would have done his homework on this”.

Do not be fooled by Newsman. The CEO just donated one million dollars to Hillary Clinton. The same way you shouldn’t be fooled by Fox’s owner Rupert Murdock, who has caved to the homosexual agenda and told all his employees to never criticize homosexuals in any way, shape or form. They are all in the tank for same-sex “marriage”.

God can not be happy with the frauds in the Vatican:

“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

I’m not sure which is scarier: the fact that the Vatican stole these books or that these books needed to be disseminated to all of the cardinals in the first place.

The faction consisting of scum in the College of Cardinals has been growing for decades.

Ratzinger revealed that the German bishops’ conference threatened JPII—make Kasper a Cardinal, or we will cut off funding the church in Poland. This was under Communism.

JPII should have gone to the balcony and said, “I have been threatened by the German bishops’ conference,” and told the whole story, and asked for donations for the church in Poland.

Instead, he made Kasper a Cardinal.

For some reason, BXVI made Wuerl a Cardinal, side-by-side with Burke.

The POPES have created this College of Cardinals teeming with scum and villainy.
