But when I read “Prominent Catholics call on pope out oust S.F. archbishop,” I knew those Catholics would never call for the ouster of a liberal S.F. archbishop.

I talked to him right after he was transferred from Oakland to SF at an airport ready to go to Rome, and told him he REALLY had God’s work cut out for him and that Freepers were praying for him.......so PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM!!!

Looking at the actual list, it contains elementary school teachers, parish volunteers, a couple Catholic high school graduates, several nurses. It looks like a handful of businessmen and a USF trustee thought they were speaking for the archdiocese’s congregations, and ended up with only several dozen nobodies to join them.
