The Independent reported that The Church of England is “at risk of an unprecedented schism” in light of the proposal by the Global Anglican Futures Conference, which seeks to counter what conservatives find is a liberal approach to social issues by the Church of England and the Archbishop of Canterbury. […]

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby said back in December 2014 that he fears the Anglican Communion may experience schism because of the debates on social issues. […]

Some Anglican conservatives, such as Andrea Williams, director of pro-gay therapy group Christian Concern, suggested that this schism within the Church might indeed become a reality if the CofE eventually drops its opposition to gay marriage. …

And why would a conservative Anglican head a pro-gay therapy group?

Why would a conservative Anglican head a pro-gay therapy group?

Because the group is in favor of therapy for gays, and not part of a therapy group that is "pro-gay."

Good for them. Of course they would be welcome in the Ordinariate as well!

So this would be a schism within the Church of England, which already could be considered a Catholic schism?

I was explaining to someone about the verses on homosexuality ..so to make it easy on myself I googled hoping ror a good ready link with all the info from the Bible on the subject.

WOW what a surprise...link after link of different sites basically saying it really is not all that bad.

Then I found a few that were looking solid at first glance, but still went on to downplay it in some fashion

This was the best I could find in a 15 minute search

There’s a conservative group of Anglican churches headed by an African bishop, I believe.
It was telling when the entire Fort Worth, Texas diocese split from the American church to say we’re going to report to an African bishop who opposes same sex marriage and ordained gays.

I flew next to an Angelican pastor that was ordained by that African Bishop He explained the 3 branches of the Angelican church to me. His conservative branch is close to the Angelican Calvinist roots except it is charismatic. He said the Catholic branch holds a very. RC doctrine. I found him a humble man

There already are such groups as the Anglican Church in North America.
