Thanks Jim!

There has been a recent occurrence of Chritian postings, posts not specifying any sect of Chritianity, that have been closed Protestant caucus threads. In other words, Catholics aren’t Christians. This began immediatly following your first warning a few days ago.

Anyway, I’m praying for you. I’ve never met you, but you must have some big shoulders!

If the "'saving remnant" will not save, then America is toast.

Genesis 18:16-33              New International Version (NIV)

Abraham Pleads for Sodom

16 When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way. 17 Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? 18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.[a] 19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

20 Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”

22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.[b] 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare[c] the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.

27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”

“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”

29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”

He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”

He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”

He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”

32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”

He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

33 When the Lord had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

"Is he just waving it; or is he going to bash someone?"

I have my own opinion, however... Politicians blow smoke. It's what they do.

(I'd suggest he use a short iron, more mass in the head, better inertia at point of impact.)

So you saying Catholics can have a caucus but Protestants can’t?

By your standard a Catholic Caucus implies Protestants are not Christian.

To make sure we all remember we're really on the same team, maybe someone with $$$ and video making talent should put together a video of some of the billions and billions and billions of FReepers around the world chanting (like they sometimes do at college football games -- like this one), only instead of chanting, "WE ARE....PENN STATE!", they should change it to:

WE ARE...
F-R!!!!!!!!!!
(And maybe they could add some strong drums or something!)    :-)

Then you could post that video every once in a while, just as a reminder to everyone that we should build up and maintain our true "team spirit", and aim all our attacks at the real enemy (those who are destroying our country and our culture and our freedoms), not at each other.

Protestants know who this is.

That's quite an assumption.

The caucus labels say *Protestant caucus* not *Christian caucus - Catholics not allowed*.

If the threads were labeled *Christian caucus* with the intent that Catholics not be allowed, you would have a case. But they aren't, so you don't.

It seems that you are making the assumption that Protestants are Christians and Catholics aren't by presuming that *Protestant* means *Christian*.

You didn’t read my comment, so I’ll repeat myself: The threads caucused “Protestant” are nondenominational Christian. Since Catholics are also Christian, there shouldn’t be a problem with us joining the conversation. Your passive aggressiveness fools us not at all. For a Christian you are such a mean spirited person. I pray for you, you know. Peace be with you.

I think logic has failed here -- please note you said:

"The threads caucused "Protestant" are nondenominational Christian. Since Catholics are also Christian...."

So... when Catholic threads are caucused, since Protestants are nondenominational Christians and Catholics are Christians, Protestants should be able to post on Catholic Caucused threads also... right?

What, then, is the point of a caucus? Being nondenominational has nothing to do with it. Caucused means caucused.

Protestants are nondenominational? Don’t they have 30K to 40K denominations? If it was a Presbyterian article, caucus it as such. Baptist? Slap the caucus label on it. Fine by me. Christians (no denomination mentioned) standing against abortion? No caucus needed. Doing so is a passive aggressive way for the whiners on the warning thread to say Catholics aren’t Christians, without actually saying it and getting zotted. They are are not half as smart as they think they are.

How is thanking Mr. Robinson for clarifying the issue “tattling”, especially after he reiterated a second time?

I wonder if all really recognize the love of Jesus.

The attitude displayed in some posts prompts me to wonder.
