2015 12 20 John Haller Prophecy Update: "It's Time to Pay Attention" (video)
Fellowship Bible Chapel ^ | 12/20 | John Haller

Posted on 12/21/2015 3:42:43 PM PST by Lera

From a Burka-wearing "Christian" Professor from Wheaton College, to racist dinners being served at Oberlin College, from a blasphemous rendition of a beloved carol by Hillsong, to Liquid Church's "Star Wars" message (complete with a nativity scene featuring Han, Leia, Chewy and R2D2), this week's update is both an advisory and a warning. Apostasy may already be in your church, and jihad is coming.

This week's core message is one reminding us to be vigilant on all fronts, both spiritually and physically. We must be prepared to defend the Gospel and call out false teachings emanating from America's pulpits, while also being observant and aware of your physical surroundings.

This warning struck close to home this past week on two fronts First, John personally witnessed a very physically fit male, dressed in a full ski mask, gloves and a t-shirt (it was 60 degrees in Columbus that day) taking multiple pictures of high rise buildings in downtown Columbus using his cell phone. Of course, being John, he followed and photographed this mystery man and notified the authorities. Second, he received a call from a contact in Southern California who had witnessed a group of 200-300 men walking down her suburban street. When she inquired as to what they were doing, they responded "we are claiming this neighborhood in the name of Allah."

There is no doubt that the President has kept one promise. "Fundamental Change" has come to America. The only remaining question is, how much more judgment is coming on America and the world before our Lord and Savior returns to claim His own?

Join John has he discusses these issues, and many others including the latest questionable actions by the Vatican on this week's update entitled "It's Time to Pay Attention"

(1 Thessalonians 5:1) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

(1 Thessalonians 5:2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

(1 Thessalonians 5:3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

(1 Thessalonians 5:4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

(2 Timothy 3:1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

(2 Timothy 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

(2 Timothy 3:3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

(2 Timothy 3:4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

(2 Timothy 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

The pulpits are full of “Confidence Artists” looking for tax free and unreported money.

It was Silent Night but he wasn’t talking about the song itself but on how the girl was dressed (very skimpy skirt)

I see.

I have issues with how many Christians dress in church. The girls often look more like hookers out for a night on the town.

I do not understand how some men can focus on the Lord under such conditions.

While I am not especially keen on Hillsong’s music or worship style, and I have never heard of ‘Liquid Church’, I would not choose to necessarily brand either as ‘blasphemous’. (Not having watched either of the ‘Liquid Church’ sermons, the idea of a ‘Cosmic Christmas’ does seem to me, to be a bit of a stretch.)

Years ago, I was asked to lead worship on the Sunday after Christmas at a church I used to attend. Among the hymns I chose was ‘The Huron Carol’. I prefaced the song with our being called to preach the Gospel to ALL the Earth, to cultures who have no knowledge of Israel, or Jesus, and to reach young people who are told by our present culture, that there is no God. We have to reach out in a way that makes sense and appeals to them, yet is true to the Bible. In Acts 17, Paul used the Athinians’ idol ‘To An Unknown God’, as a way to reach the Athinians in a way they could grasp.

In the case of the ‘Huron Carol’ (written in 1642), how was Fr. Jean de Brebeuf to attempt to teach the Hurons of Eastern Canada, about Christ’s first coming, when the Hurons had no concept of shepherds, gold, frankincense, myrrh, a manger, a stable, Magi, Jehovah, or a host of other Middle Eastern concepts?

What de Brebeuf did, was to put the Christmas story into a context that would make sense to the Hurons. Instead of Jesus being ‘wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger’, concepts they would not understand, Jesus was born ‘in a lodge of broken bark’ wrapped in a ‘robe of rabbit skin’. The Native concept of the Creator was ‘Gitchee Manitou’ so, instead of ‘God’ or ‘Jehovah’, ‘Gitchee Manitou’ was used in the hymn. de Brebeuf was able to bring numbers of Hurons to faith in Jesus.

As Christians, we are too quick to attack those who believe somewhat differently than we do, while remaining steadfast in the core beliefs of Christianity. I’ve seen ‘Millenialists’ attacking ‘Preterists’ (and vice versa), Roman Catholics attacking Evangelicals (and vice versa), all manner of Christians attacking each other with a vengeance that would make ISIS leader al-Bagdadhi jealous! No wonder that youth (and older, up to and including seniors) are turned off by ‘Christianity’! We are supposed to be ‘salt’ and ‘light’ to a broken world, yet we often come across no differently (and sometimes even worse) than non-Believers. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

Our society has become ‘foreign’ to the society I grew up in. Until I was 25 or so, my Province operated under ‘The Lord’s Day Act’, where EVERY commercial enterprise, other than the rare gas station and pharmacy, was closed on Sunday, and 40-50% of the population attended church; at school we sang ‘God Save The Queen’ and ‘O Canada’ each AM before reciting the Lord’s Prayer. An era long gone, sadly!

If Hillsong and/or Liquid Church can attract someone to read their Bible and seek God’s face, He will respond to them and show them Truth.

I don’t think the actions of either church group is blasphemous, but for me, they are ‘edgy’, to say the least.
