A MORMON CHURCH IN AUSTRALIA IS RECEIVING PRAISE AFTER A PHOTO OF A MUSLIM MAN PRAYING IN THEIR CHURCH GOES VIRAL.
A Mormon church in Brisbane, Australia has received plenty of praise from individuals and groups around the world when they invited a group of Muslim worshippers from a local mosque to visit their Church and pray with them. Facebook pictures of Ali Kadri, who is a representative of the Islamic Council of Queensland, show that he and his fellow worshippers prayed at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints on December 12.
One of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints had invited the group of Muslim worshippers as part of their annual Christmas outreach program. According to Ali Kadri, the hosts displayed âamazing mannersâ while they were leading the multi-faith groups though the church on a tour. The members of the LDS church reportedly gave the group a room within the church in the evenings when it was time for prayers.
In the Facebook post that went viral, Kadri wrote "Two faiths praying to the same God in a different way within the same building." Within about 24 hours after the post, it was shared by more than 5600 individuals and groups from all over the world. According to sources, Mr. Kadri believes that the post became popular because people from all over the world are hungry for news about love and respect.
Sue Owen, the Queensland Director of Public Affairs for the host church believes that inviting people from different faiths to their event was a great way to connect with members who belong to different religions. She said that they will be able to promote peace only when they try and find out what they have in common instead of searching for what sets them apart. According to sources, she said, "We really think that by joining together we will find peace."
Abject Dhimmi Fools ...
Islam looks forward to the day that Mormon men are beheaded outside that church, and Mormon women and girls sold into sexual slavery ...
King Hezekiah comes to mind. Brilliant. /sarc
Polygamists stick together!
I see nothing to get upset about. They’re all praying to Satan in that building, just under different names.
Can’t we all just get along?
Aesop’s Fable, ‘The Scorpion and the Frog.’
Read it. Learn it. Live it.
Great. I always hoped the morons would side with America.
They claimed that church as their own.
When are muslimes going to let Mormons pray in their smell mosques.
They both have a phony book, so why not have them get together
If a Mormon prayed at an Islamic mosque, they would slit his throat. In the Islamic world, this type of “tolerance” and “bridge building” is viewed as weakness, nothing more.
Joseph Smith always admired Mohammed and his “Alcoran” & thought both cults similar in their rapid rise under a single leader each with his own self-authored “holy book”.
That Mormon building in Down Under will soon be filled with Muslims claiming what is theirs under Islamic law.
One cult reaching out to another cult.
Sniff, sniff.....it’s getting dusty in here........
I have liked the Mormons.
Not for long, if they continue this.
I’m guessing that is at their neighborhood ward “church”. It would be really impressive if they let them worship in their Mormon Temple.
The new temple near us had an open house for anyone and everyone to go see. Once the open house was done they closed it down for a remodel. New carpeting, railings, pews, etc. Anything that might have been touched by a non-Mormon was replaced!
Because both belief systems are cool with Masonry. The LDS foundations were based on Masonic beliefs and can be seen if you ever go into an old Mormon building. The Muslim world also has much in common.
Well, the Muzzies won’t be upset by the presence of crosses.
They’re Australasian not American Mormons. American Mormons would not have any of this.
Won’t do any good.
Where ever an Islamist (Muslim whatever) appears, walks, etc that area BELONGS to Islam. Forever.
Asking Muslims to join you is like asking satan to join you.
No biggie though, neither Mormonism nor Islam is Christian.
