Then why confuse the issue? Roman Catholicism seems to always work Mary into every conversation.

Mary plays no role in our salvation.

It is only through belief in Christ do we have salvation. Mary plays zero part.

Do you have a different Bible that you read? One that omits big chunks of the Gospels, like maybe leaves out the opening chapters of Luke entirely?

God became man through Mary to save you. That's what the Bible teaches; that's Christianity.

A Christianity which ignores the "through Mary" part very shortly ignores the "became man" part, and shortly after that it ignores the "God became" part. Sometime before that, it ceases to be Christianity at all.

Yet in all those passages in the NT I cannot find one where Jesus says through my mom you can come to Me.

God became man through Mary to save you. That's what the Bible teaches; that's Christianity.

All the people referenced above (and their wives) were essential to Christ's incarnation. Do you venerate them as you do Mary?
