Clint Schnekloth is an ELCA pastor, author, writer and speaker who is well-known within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He controls at least two ELCA Facebook pages which reach thousands of people, and he wields a great deal of power and influence by dictating who is allowed to post and what kind of comments will be allowed on his ELCA pages. Not only does he have the respect of fellow ELCA leaders and members because of that power, but Pastor Schnekloth's influence reaches much farther. He ...write(s) content for a worship resource published by Augsburg Fortress. It's called Sundays & Seasons... (see here)
Now that you know a little about ELCA pastor Schnekloth, take a look at the vile, non-Biblical and sacrilegious comment he made about Jesus, the Son of God:
Pastor Schnekoth believes Jesus was intersex? What?!?! This is the definition of intersex: "An individual having reproductive organs or external sexual characteristics of both male and female."
It is disgusting that a man with this kind of power and influence within the ELCA is telling people that Jesus was intersex, a hermaphrodite. What kind of spirit is at work in someone who thinks like this?
The ELCA has turned the Bible into an arbitrary reference guide that has no authority. It tells them about Jesus, but it isn't good for much more than that. Because of their view of God's Word, they can ignore plain teaching, such as "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21) and make things up to fit their twisted worldview. It is demonic.
God will not be mocked. Please share the truth of what is going on with your ELCA friends and family.
For those keeping score, ELCA is the Lutheran equivalent of the PC(USA).
A wolf in sheep’s clothing thirty miles from here.
Thankfully, Dr. Ronnie Floyd is just up the road.
The Grand Delusion is well underway.
In other words, Jesus could have played basketball at Baylor University
More proof that many mainstream Christian churches really aren’t Christian. They are the shell of a Christian church that has been inhabited by a bunch of New Age, PC high priests.
ELCA, Every Liberal Cause in America.
ELCA has broke up more churches than Hitler.
Jesus was circumcised on the 8th day.
When his family was returning from Egypt, he was thought by each parent to be with the other since he was at the age when boys start associating with their father and stop associating with their mother.
When he was dying, he passed the responsibility for taking care of this mother to his beloved disciple John the Evangelist. (Knowing as he did that his younger brothers, who would be martyred, would not be able to do so.)
I could mention yet other verses that speak to his acting as a Jewish male. This inter-sex thing is blasphemy.
Chapter and verse for that, please.
At one point the PCUSA and the ECUSA had a big lead on the ELCA in the race to the bottom, but the Lutherans are doing a fine job in catching up. UCC is still in front at this point, but seems to have hit a plateau.
What the hell is intersex? Sounds to me like another faggotty perv wants to fling poo at Christians while pretending to be one.
Clint Schnekloth uses the quote out-of-context. The Jefferson letter to Adams was attacking John Calvin and the Calvinists for corrupting Christianity.
The wishes expressed, in your last favor, that I may continue in life and health until I become a Calvinist, at least in his exclamation of `mon Dieu! jusque à quand’! would make me immortal. I can never join Calvin in addressing his god. He was indeed an Atheist, which I can never be; or rather his religion was Daemonism. If ever man worshipped a false god, he did.
The truth is that the greatest enemies to the doctrines of Jesus are those calling themselves the expositors of them, who have perverted them for the structure of a system of fancy absolutely incomprehensible, and without any foundation in his genuine words. And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. But we may hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with all this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this the most venerated reformer of human errors.
Mr. Schnekloth sounds like a thorough idiot. It would be cool if we could bring Luther back from the dead so they could have a discussion on this. Plus — the private opinion of Jefferson or any of the Founders on a theological matter has nothing to do with whether the United States was founded as a Christian nation. It was founded as a Christian nation long before Jefferson’s grandfather was a gleam in his father’s eye, and it was full of Christians back in 1776. Did any Christians adopt Jefferson’s theology back then because he, a Founder, said it? Have any adopted it since then?
All this crap filters down from the top. Until we have some Real Leaders that say No to all the PC, New Age, atheist, anti-traditional, anti-American weirdness, it will continue. We’ve had enough! Just another source of the Rage most Americans are feeling and thinking.
So Jesus could use either restroom?
I sure wish they would drop “Lutheran” from their name.
There is no EA in LCMS.
