Nevertheless, it sets a dangerous precedent and I think that businesses are likely to follow the example their governments set; the more immoral and corrupt the leadership, the more likely the general populace will follow them over the cliff.
Well, I think it pays in this case to be specific. Because common sense should tell us that no level of government should be able to tell businesses who can use their dumb women’s bathrooms and private areas. The Charlotte ordinance took that choice away from private businesses, the NC state law then restored it. Granted, if a business chooses to let men use these areas, I don’t think that’s too great for culture.
