Religious Leaders Bless Opening of New Planed Parenthood Abortion Clinic, Call It “Sacred Work”
LIFE NEWS ^ | January 12, 2017 | Micaiah Bilger

Blessing an abortion clinic may seem antithetical to religious beliefs about the sanctity of life.

But various religious leaders came together to do just that on Tuesday at Planned Parenthood’s newest abortion facility in Washington, D.C.

DCist reports religious leaders representing more than 20 groups participated in the ceremony inside the new mega-facility, which opened in September. The new abortion facility is located next to the Two Rivers Public Charter School, a sought-after elementary school in D.C, much to the outrage of pro-lifers and parents.

“In almost every message to our staff, I talk about our doing sacred work,” Dr. Laura Meyers, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, told the news outlet. “This confirms the sacredness of the work we do.”

Later, she said pro-lifers “tried to separate those of us working on or supporting the right of women to choose a from a sense of deep spirituality. So today is a shift in that narrative.”

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Here’s more from the report:

Before the ceremony kicked off, religious leaders gathered upstairs for their own prayer circle, led by Rabbi Michael Namath. The program director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism called upon their obligation to the world to “make it whole and holy.”

Then the formal event began, featuring leaders from different Christian denominations, a rabbi, abortion providers, a Planned Parenthood patient, Hindu priests, an Imam over Skype, visual art, and a liturgical dance.

“I’ve been a Christian longer than I’ve been an abortion provider,” said Willie Parker, who is about as close as the reproductive choice movement gets to a rock star. “Women have been made to think that this [clinic] is some evil place, where God is not,” he continued, pointing out the people “cursing [women] for making sacred decisions. Our answer to the curse is to bless.”

Planned Parenthood medical director Serina Floyd said she plans to tell patients that the abortion facility is a “blessed space” and that “those of faith also support your decisions.”

The group ended by singing “This Little Light of Mine” together, according to the report.

The so-called “sacredness” and “blessing” that the abortion group offers is taking advantage of vulnerable women and killing their unborn babies. In the eyes of many religious leaders and groups, the destruction of innocent life is evil.

Judeo-Christian beliefs teach that human life is sacred from its beginning at conception until natural death, because all lives are created in the image of God. Based on Islamic teachings, Muslims also generally oppose abortion, and many Islamic nations prohibit abortions in all or most circumstances.

Since learning about the new D.C. mega-facility, pro-lifers in the city have been working in various ways to protect babies and moms from the abortion expansion. Prayer vigils and protests, sidewalk counseling efforts and increased access to life-affirming support all have been part of pro-lifers’ efforts to help unborn babies and moms in the city.

The blasphemy and heresy is reaching a fever pitch here.

I don’t want to answer to the creator of the universe as to why I thought this was a good idea.

I had to back away from this fight because I can’t seem to come to any peaceful conclusion. So I just cry and pray.

Strange, some probable black pastors coming together to bless a mostly black baby killing mill. Who do they praise for that one?

This is worse than a Lampinelli joke. What do you call a black woman who had 7 abortions?...A CRIME FIGHTER!

The blessing by these pastors of an abortion mill is far worse than that horrible joke.

Was Nancy Pelosi in attendance?

“As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this,” Pelosi said about efforts to stop late-term abortions. “This shouldn’t have anything to do with politics.”

Luciferianism—that is rich, educated people’s Satanism. All of the perverse things that we are seeing in the West are manifestations of Luciferianism in high places.

Christian leaders, a rabbi, a Hindu Priest and an Imam all there in some capacity. That’s just great.

Of course the Imam wants us to kill our babies.

“cursing [women] for making sacred decisions. Our answer to the curse is to bless.”..

Now abortion is a sacred deciion.

God will not be mocked. Trust me folks, I know. He’s REALLY REALLY patient, and gives you a millions chances and outs, but at some point, he loses it and MAN he hits HARD.

My personal experience is that even after he clocks you he’s STILL willing to give you another chance on Earth.

These people are going to pay the price for their actions.

Disgusting. There is nothing holy about abortion. There is nothing in Judaism that is pro abortion.
Legally we all here are allowed to kill our unborn children. But there is nothing religious about it. It’s a legal decision only. Coating it with blessings is very very phony.

People similar to them 200 years ago were praising slavery and saying you weren’t a good Christian if you did not support the kidnapping and exploitation of Africans.

Why not? Abortion in the US alone has killed more than ten TIMES the number of Jews killed by Hitler in WWII.

Matthew 7:21-23 -

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

just because some people say prays or call it blessed does not make it so.

plenty of verses in the bible speak of people can deceive themselves if they think they know better or more than God.
