I guess my question which may be off topic is why are women marching against Trump and calling him a pervert and then buy this stuff off the shelves?

I think it's a legitimate question.

While it might not be Christian, per se, I like what Dennis Prager says about marital sex. That LOVE should Be what couples do outside the bedroom. SEX is what they should
Be doing inside the bedroom. He hates the expression making love. Because he feels making
Love is the treatment every day of
One’s spouse. (Can’t type on my stupid phone)
He has spoken for years about the importance of
Pure sex in a marriage. It is a relationship glue.

The whole Fifty Shades phenomenon glorifies the abuse of women. I don’t know why ANYBODY would want to watch it.

It is so sad...even Christian women are sucked into this black hole. Why can’t they be happy with their dear sweet faithful guys? What has happened to common sense with these women?

Good point, personally I feel it’s a sin to watch or read it.I am a female. We always skip bad parts in movies and throw out books we see laying around that are dirty when on vacation. That being said.I might be asked questions about something in a movie. In that case I would get the feel for it in general and not be affected by it so I can debate .

Mom and I enjoyed it. She and Dad lived in Norfolk in 1961-3, before I was born, and she said the portrayal of society was accurate. We visited one of her friends the next day, and he said he’d never seen segregated schools/facilities and didn’t know if it was real, but he lived Up North until the 1980s.

Great comments.

Prager has an interesting viewpoint that you don’t see much of.

He has been on fire lately. Much more relevant than rush. Sadly
I can’t hear him on regular Radio but that’s what phones are for. He has a free app and he’s on same as Rush hours.

Ok, I might have been a little hard on him.

You are right that people are not able to exercise discernment. In my former church the pastor had one young lady ask him for a "list of what she could and could not do" before going off to college. He called her mom and dad in for a family sit down because if, at this point in her life, she was having to ask there was something seriously wrong.

The biggest problem is that they may hear one thing from the pulpit and hear something else at home.

Yes.

People can not wait to tell you stuff that you would really rather not know.

We have become a society of blabber mouths.

I agree completely.

When my kids were growing up, we lived in a welfare town and saw more stuff than I'd have liked, but it did give us the opportunity to discuss bad life choices and reinforce right and wrong.

When they went off to college, they never asked me or anyone for a *list*.

All three of them are now pursuing grad degrees, and nobody ended up on drugs, in jail, pregnant, or whatever.

They knew what they believed and why they believed it.

I suspect that part of that is a guilty conscience.

There seems to be something in us that needs to confess our wrong.

I have an acquaintance who is in a volatile marriage, (and she's as much to blame as he is, if not more)and after they have a fight, she seems almost compelled to mention it.

I had another acquaintance (who I've cut ties with) who would also tell me stuff that I couldn't believe she was doing.

I don't know if they were looking for approval or validation or whatever, but it seems to be something in human nature to do that.

I think it comes from "shame" being a bad word today.

They know they should feel something about what they are doing but they are not sure what. So they tell everybody to figure out how they should feel about it.

I thought being a manager was bad but I never realized how many people were eager to pour out the details of their lives until I started working in a store.

At least it used to be just the people who worked for me. Now it is total strangers. And people that are totally strange.

I’m sorry, but that comment indicates you really don’t knew much about women. They have all SORTS of things going on that men have no idea about.
