What is distinguished by strict observance of the traditional and written law, and commonly held to have pretensions to superior sanctity ?
So you believe that sacramental marriage is a pretension of superior sanctity as compared to living in a state of mortal sin by cohabiting?
Pathetic.

This is a Catholic Caucus thread.
Yes it is; it is not a SSPX Caucus thread; a Catholic Caucus thread; I would expect more respect toward the Catholic Pope on such a thread.

Bergoglio made that statement as Pope. He wasnt in Argentina. But it seems like you think hes right.
Pope Francis gave that interview in 2016. He was born in Argentina and was reminiscing about his pastoral experiences there.

I know it. I posted the thread and I expect a more Catholic pope than Bergoglio.

Im sorry you are on Bergoglios and ...
I realize you are sorry; you wrote that once before; the rest is a further example buttressing my original point about fake propoganda. Even the Apostle Paul was rebuked and accepted that rebuke when spoke ill of another religious leader.

My post wasn’t an answer. It was question which you refuse to answer.

Paul? Not Peter?
Paul, not Peter
It is vital that the scriptures permeate our hearts, be on the tips of our tongues, so to speak all the time, to guard us from sins which do so easily beset us.

And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest? Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Do you even know what St Paul said about fornicators?
I highly doubt that you or Bergoglio do know. Or else just ignore him.

It was a yes or no question.
Why won’t you answer it?

Yes, and I note the other sins he mentioned with fornication (porneia).
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Are you Catholic or Protestant?
I believe in one holy catholic apostolic church.
Why do you quote different bibles?
Because I have liberty
