FULL TITLE: Baby and three teenagers are shot at an Alabama church's Easter carnival after fight breaks out in crowd of 900
Four young people - including a baby under the age of one - were shot at a church's Easter carnival in Alabama on Saturday night.
The toddler and three teenagers were not critically injured after gunfire erupted at the Cathedral of the Cross A.O.H. Church of God on the border of Birmingham and Center Point,AL.com reported.
They were all taken to hospital, as was a pregnant woman knocked to the ground in the chaos that followed the gunfire.

Carnival - carnal evil
Carnival is not fit for a church to call down upon themselves, least of all as an Easter event. Of all things diametrically opposed “carnival” is one. Eggs or not, it is not a label for the churches.
Very tragic.
Thirty years ago....Center Point would have been considered safely out of the shadow of Birmingham (which was even then turning into a cesspool). If you pull out a map today....three sides of Birmingham’s city limits now surround Center Point. You’d have to move another ten to twelve miles to be safely out of Birmingham’s affect.
By 2040, you probably will have to live 50 miles outside of Birmingham to be safe.
I got lost driving in Birmingham a couple of years ago and didn’t think I was gonna make it out alive. It is a shame we can’t drive anywhere in any city in the US and not be afraid. I miss the good ole days.
In other news no Amish were wounded or killed in Easter shootings!
Here in the northeast the black urban populations (like those of suburban whites) are contracting; as they separate from each other, the void is filled with Asian and Hispanic “replacement Americans” that basically form an ever-widening buffer between the two. I believe this is what motivated Black Lies Matter-types to spill onto highways; they have almost no interaction with whites anymore.
IIRC, the drop in black birthrate was a direct result of the 1996 welfare reform; despite $harpton’s insistence that they weren’t breeding for cash, it turns out that’s exactly what they were doing. Now many realize you just need one “golden ticket welfare bastard” to get the free apartment, foodstamps/WIC, and free college - no need to spit out five or six.
