Christian clergy helped a Muslim mosque open in a Pentecostal church.
"It's open faith; we're brothers," Ali Mohammad, an organizer of the mosque, tells North Carolina's News & Observer.
The Muslims are stripping the church of its Christian roots, including removing any crosses and handing them over to pastors in the area.
When they opened on Saturday, Christian clergy, including Pastor Jim Melnyk of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, participated in the ceremony. Other pastors from Methodist and Baptist congregations were also present.
"I see it as an important statement of community, that we take each other's faiths seriously," Melnyk says. "I want to acknowledge how important it is to build bridges in the community when we're living in a time that is so anxiety ridden and there's so much mistrust going on in the world around us. It's important when we can find common ground and share our community."

By praying to Allah, he is denying Christ. Would not want to be him when he sees Jesus on the other side of the veil.

Did the Muslims simply “take over” the Pentecostal church or did the buy or lease the Pentecostal church’s property?
Some people have to learn from experience.

I know several missionaries to Moslims who are now agreeing with Islam that there could never be a Trinity and now have Islamic items all around their home
The magazine piece is very poorly written but it seems like a Pentecostal church went out of business. Now a mosque is renting or bought the same property. They gave away crosses and such to nearby pastors. Some liberal pastors came and acted liberal during the opening service.

This is why I left the Lutheran church for a non denominational church. The chain churches and mega churches are all going progressive with pro islam, pro sodomy, pro abortion agenda so they can have more fannies in the pews.

The apostasy of the last days is spreading like fire. It is CLEARLY described in the NT and yet Christians are rushing to it like lemmings. I have to assume they never read their bibles.
These ‘christians’ are worshipping the idol of ‘nice’. They want to be nice. They want to be sweet. (They want to be liked). They have been told for decades that we can lead people to Christ by being nice and sweet.
But it doesn’t work. We are called to be salt. While the church has been nice, the world has been going to hell and cultures are rotting.
Jesus called us to be confrontational. To speak the truth, in love, but clearly and boldly. To set the bar of individual and societal behavior high and clearly speak to personal repentance and salvation.
These ‘pastors’ are on the thinnest of ice.
