From the article:
” Since homosexuality is considered a grave sin and marriage a sacred union, the concept of same-sex marriage is a sacrilege. It seeks to profane that which is holy.
When a same-sex couple stands before someone acting in an official capacity and repeats words that mimic marriage vows, they are, in a very real sense, openly defying God.”
I agree.
Their alleged public profession of their “marital” relationship is the equivalent of their publicly shaking their fist at God. And, all those present are, in effect, cheering them on in their act of sacrilege.

This is fair enough.
But what about going to a dinner party at an unmarried couple’s house?

In some cultures, heterosexual men kiss on the lips routinely. And, evidently in the UK, heterosexual soccer players and other sports men have upped the anti considerably on same sex affection without being the least bit gay.
Evidently the Biblical verse: “Greet one another with a HOLY kiss” was torn out of your Bible?

Honestly, when you know that their sex life is destructive to the human body and involved feces almost every time, how can you say you love them and put a stamp of approval on what is killing them?

Are you going to deny the joy of your friends and family whom you love? Were better than that. Im sure you will all agree.
......................................................
Would you accept an invitation from a friend to celebrate the joy he/she is finding in an adulterous relationship?

“Love God with all your heart Mind and Soul”
Its not easy but we have the law.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:11
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:5
Do not let anyone fool you by their empty talk. It is because people do these wrong things that God is very angry. He is angry with the people who do not obey him. So then, have nothing to do with them.
Ephesians 5:6-7
Warn divisive people once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.
Titus 3:10

If you love someone, you surely would not go to an event that commits the parties (including the person you love) to an eternity in hell.
Obviously they can repent and turn before they die, but far be it to attend an event where the 'couple' takes vows that are an abomination to God and our Saviour. Christ died for us to atone for our sins. To blatantly, and knowingly, commit such a sin, is to spit His face. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
And we spit in His face?
How could anyone attend such an event without weeping? Why would they want to? Love does not entail winking at sin and pretending all is well for the parties marching off to eternal damnation - when you know better.

Maybe the norm for the culture at the time? Was there a shortage of men?
Monogamy did not seem common until the New Testament in spite of God’s laws.

If Jesus showed up right now he wouldn’t be Christian. I think it is very UNCHRISTIAN to think that you should not attend to support a family member or friend. Who is the “JUDGE” on “JUDGEMENT DAY”??? That’s exactly what’s wrong with these born again hypocrites.

You are free to do what you wish. I dont have enough hate in my heart to do that to people I love.
You've mixed up the meaning of Love and Hate.
God, and his Son Jesus Christ provides the true definition of love, and part of that is rebuking those in sin, not to harm them, but to save them from the punishment that God has declared for their sins.
Your definition of Love simply enables their sin and further cements their punishment.

Actually the reverse. Most references are in the New Testament.
