Jezebel was an example of a wife supporting her husband. She had no personal beef with Naboth: she just used initiative to make her husband happy, as any wife should.
I agree. It's always puzzled me why Jezebel has become synonymous with a whorish/immoral woman when she was a dutiful wife. There's nothing about her being unfaithful, or betraying her husband in any way. Putting on makeup and sitting in the window, when you know what's going to happen to you, is brave defiance in the face of the inevitable.
