Court - Student Can be Expelled for Quoting Bible on Facebook [UK]

A Christian student who was expelled from university after posting on Facebook in support of Biblical teaching on marriage and sexual ethics has today (Friday 27th October) lost his case in a judicial review of the university’s decision.

Felix Ngole was studying for an MA in Social Work at Sheffield university. In 2015 he made comments using his personal Facebook account on the story of the American registrar Kim Davis who was imprisoned after conscientiously refusing to register same-sex marriages. Felix expressed his Christian beliefs on the issue and argued that: "same sex marriage is a sin whether we like it or not. It is God’s words and man’s sentiments would not change His words". He was asked where in the Bible it says that same-sex marriage is wrong, and he quoted various passages to demonstrate this.

Nearly two months later, Mr Ngole received an email from a university official informing him that his Facebook comments were being investigated. He was later interviewed by an investigatory team, and subsequently removed from his course by a panel chaired by Professor Marsh, an LGBT rights campaigner.

Mr Ngole, supported by the Christian Legal Centre, sought to challenge the university’s decision in a judicial review which was heard in the High Court over two days. The court ruled that the university acted lawfully in removing Mr Ngole from his course.

The wisdom our founding fathers had to break away form the British Empire should be evident to everyone now, sadly that is not the case.

I would not be surprised if Facebook alerted UK authorities that his views were actionable in that country.

Freedom of speech for me, but not for thee.

Should have quoted from the Koran - would have got extra points. But then, since when does a social media network have anything to do with what’s outside it? Oh, forgot, Englandistan.

Did he post from the Cambridge or Oxford KJV? The rights of those books are vested in the Crown.

So he gets thrown out of school for quoting approved readings from the Crown’s own translations.

Weird.

“... removed from his course by a panel chaired by Professor Marsh, an LGBT rights campaigner”

Right there is the problem. Homosexuals have taken over academia and the judiciary.

Their degenerate power will be fleeting. Eventually, sooner than later, the mooslimb hordes will overrun the homosexuals in England. Then the homos will turn to the Christians for protection. None will be forthcoming.

God bless and protect Mr. Ngole.

Freedom of speech is dead in the UK.

Trump should publicly announce that if this guy wants to come to the United States, he will be immediately granted political asylum as someone who is oppressed for his religious beliefs. First, I’d rather have somebody like this as an immigrant to this country than random terrorists from Uzbekistan and, second, it would be really sticking it to Theresa May.

Wow! It’s even worse than I thought in the UK. Canada is sure to follow if they haven’t already.

Americans can tell their kids bedtime stories about the 2 or 3 countries that used to have free speech and were Christian friendly if you count Australia. New Zealand seems to be a lot more conservative thankfully.

He gets sanctioned for quoting from the same Bible that King James authorized and was published in 1611 to great public fanfare.
