“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

We echo the Heavenly refrain, “Glory to God in the highest”! We thank You that, like Simeon, You have allowed us to “see Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel."

We are gathered together today to bring our Nation and her leaders before You, as You have commanded. Today, we specifically pray for their spiritual lives. We continue to thank You for the large number of Your people who moved into positions of authority in January. We know that their jobs require a large time commitment, but we pray that You would give them time to study to show themselves approved unto You. “We do not cease to give thanks for them making mention of them in our prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of their understanding being enlightened; that they may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward them who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You worked in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places.”

We pray that Your anointing and presence in their lives will sweep their coworkers into Your Kingdom. Open doors for them and thrust them as laborers into the harvest.

We pray for the enemies of the cross that are embedded in leadership positions. Show them grace to be saved and changed by Your Spirit. Until that time, we pray that they would be thwarted in their efforts to resist what You are doing for us in Your righteousness.

I pray for each person who shows up to pray with us. May this be the season for the salvation of their family members. We know nothing can stop Your power to successfully pursue and win each precious one.

We appreciate,love You and thank You for giving and answering our prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen.
